There's a notion among some that this is like a stage the plant goes through. In fact you can find clear, cloudy and amber trichs on a plant, even on the same leaf, at almost any point. The key is the ratio and the only way to do that is to sample from multiple sites around the plant, and then look at several areas on that sample, and then sort of take an average. I never harvest with less than 25% amber and 50 is better.
