Ok pros, how'd I do ?

First grow, first plant. Currently 8 weeks and 5 days. This Friday, it'll be 9 weeks in flower, and I cleaned her up a bit in prep for chop-chop.

Should probably get some pics without the light on, but here's some. Is it normal for buds to hang below the pot line? I must have weak stems or something.

This is MG soil btw, and never again. I'll drive 50 miles south of here to get some FFOF before I do that again. PH imbalances, nute burn, I pretty much screwed this up and its a wonder anything grew at all

goes to show how resilient weeds are, if they can withstand my efforts, lol

U may want to tie up your buds so the branches don't break. Over all, good job for your 1st grow.

Those MG buds look fine to me . . . pipe cleaners come in real handy in propping/tying those flimsy side branches up, which would be a good idea for better bud production and light/canopy uniformity.

awesome, thanks guys. i'll look into tying them up. i don't think i see any amber trichs. mostly cloudy and some clear. how long does it take for them to come along? overnight? over a couple days? maybe i should wait until 10 weeks to chop chop. <shrug>

It takes a while. Never had em' sneak up on me yet. It's gradual, as long as you keep an eye out for 'em you'll be fine.
Probably strain dependent?

I like that too. They grew perfectly through veg without any added nutes. Nice, green, plants, no issues.

When I switched to 12/12 and started debating on what to feed them next, it all went wrong. I overfed ( I think ), flushed, underfed, not sure quite knowing what to do.

I already started a couple more in another room with the last of my MG soil, that are going to 12/12 soon and again awesome veg plants, no added nutes. I was done with MG totally after the first attempt, but we'll see. This time, I think I won't do ANYTHING until I need to.

I know over/under watering won't be any issue, and I'll have a soil ph tester, and my water is fine. So, if I start getting yellowing tips or any of that crap, then I'll start SLOWLY adding some Tigerbloom and be more reactive than proactive this time around.

Yeah unfortunately, noobville, I ordered and grew the Nirvana indoor mix, not realizing they wouldn't tell me what seed is what strain. So, I'm completely clueless on the strains on my first grow. Lame. I"ll keep a daily eye out and see what happens.

Looks good but try not to remove the fan leaves next time. The fan leaves collect energy for the buds and removing them shocked the plant and decreased productivity. Shocking is bad. Removing healthy vegetation is bad.
