Hey guys just thought I would show my first CFL grow that I have set up, and would like to hear your thoughts.For now I'm using 9 23w 6500k 1600lumen cfls, over Platinum OG Kush and Sour Diesel. I'm pretty happy with the way the lighting came out. Let me know

Hell yeah, i really like that lighting set up! Id say its time to move that one into a bigger pot.

If you want feedback I like the idea. I also use pvc but I use it to be able to place a support virtually anywhere around the grow area I want to position a clamp reflector. That's enough light for that space but 42 watters in there would make a big difference. Plus, you should have two or three bulbs in 2700k and move those around. Also, it's hard to tell from the pic but the lights look like they could be closer.

Im gonna agree with the stretched look, but youre not looking shitty. Some people dont know how to give criticism. You have 2 healthy plants, and thats the first thing to learn when starting. Bring your bulbs in to about 2 inches away from the plant. It will stop that stretching.
And as for you bluntz, if your gonna give criticism, how about telling the guy what he should do to fix it. Lets hope you used your other 24 posts more constructively.

Hell, its alive, which is more than I can say for some peoples grows. He's obviously learning, and instead of bashing him you should give him advice, thats what this site is for.
If you want to be an ass, go do it somewhere you can be face to face with people. Or are you one of those computer pussy's who likes to mouth off knowing they are safely hidden under their prospective rock??

I dont need to know who you are, I was just stating a fact as to what I would do (or attempt to do) if someone chose to be mouthy with me in person. My track record speaks for itself.

Thanks wooly. Actually while that was posted I ran to the hardware store and was already getting 2700k before you unhelpful ones could bash! As far as being stretched for the cfl's being to far. WRONG again they are clones. The fan part, already have to set up and isn't an issue either. Sorry i should have posted more pics for you I guess???? Just looking for tips on how to get better, no need for the dis man

Yeah they are still growing. Ill post pics in a day or say. I'm keeping the lights very close and keeping a closer look at when I need to move them. And yes WOOLY quite the long ones eh? Just thought I would try my first with clones, figured why not? What do you think about just 6 6500k and 3 2700k. If that is ok for now, when should I change? Thanks again, your help is appreciated.
