Is it just me or does it seem that the veteran RIU.org users have either stopped posting or just moved on to new sites?

I miss the more intellectual conversations. You know, the ones where people actually could banter back and forth and have real political disagreement instead of someone just throwing around insults.

And what ever happened to the people who knew how to spell, use capitalization in the correct places and use proper grammar and punctuation?

I hope I'm not coming off as a dick but really people. . . take some time to make sure your posts look like they come from somebody who is 18 years of age or older.

You're right, the mass influx of kids drove a lot of folks away.

I walked away from here for about 4 months because it turned into all children dumb questions and bitching. But I came back after I recouped and now I just ignore the stuff or try to. I'll need another break shortly.

Don't bitch about spelling though, that's the last thing you should care about but I would like to see people not typing in their text messaging shorthand bull, half the time I can't understand it when that and slang are mixed.

The only time broken English threads piss me off is when I'm bored and no other threads are active...

I really haven't been around long enough, but I know annoying folk when I see em. This place is about half full, I'm not suprised some of our fellow "adult" growers want nothing to do with it. You don't want to give mods more work by weeding out the imbeciles, just ignore the obvious obnoxious threads.

I've been gone for quite some time.

But I actually don't grow weed, I just like to sit here and smoke and talk with people. I miss the fun conversations, so many threads now are just useless banter with no intellectual stimulation.

I can't grow anymore either, and it's nice to just chat it up, most people on here, I've noticed, are quick to correct ANY opinion/mistake/comment... :wall:

it's rediculous, the cannabis community is supposed to be accepting of all walks, and openminded, and chill... flippant?

it's worthless to bicker on these forums, just mellow... :-P

I remember impressive pieces of work, whatever they may be. To me that's what the mulcher is, an impressive piece of work with a lot of thought behind it.

So I guess you guys who don't know how to use proper English just decided to hijack the thread. Okay, that's fine. Hope you all feel good about yourselves. You never know why someone is growing or smoking weed. Maybe it's because they're trying to get them through a tough time in their life where they can't control their feelings, be it through economic pressures, over (under) medication, etc. But I guess you don't care. As long as you can be your cool selves and frustrate people and make them want to go out of their minds then that's okay with you. After all, you're the ones that have life by the tail! GO all you young ones who think you are invincible!!! Let's see where you are 10 - 15 years from now. Maybe you'll think back on this and wish you were a little more kind.
