Hi all was just a quick query i bought a cheap timer out my local hardware store would this be safe to use with my 600 watt light or do u need a certain 1 sorry if sounds daft but am still a bit of a noob

Does the timer do what you need it to do? If it turns on your lights and off when you need it too who cares if its cheap. I say you got a deal .

yeah, the cheapest ones, there all made in china anyways. Just look and the Amp and Watt rating on the back. and some have a ground for a bit more, you might need that.

here goes it says on bck that the max watt is 480 w inductive load and then max watts 3200 resistive load what does this mean
