... for flowering?

I have 2 of these types of lamps, that apparently have red spectrum light.

I'd just like to know if I could use this, since I don't really have the budget for and HPS bulb with Ballast.

(THe ones I have, I believe, are 200w each)

Otherwise, can anyone suggest a budget light for flowering. I'm able to spend up to 50$, but that's pretty much the most I want to spend...

And or, in the same sort of subject, should I simply take my indoor plants and stick them outside, instead? (they normally can go outside, but I just wouldn't want them to die, because of an "overlight" story...)

Well, to start, Lowes isn't much of a popular company where I live, but it's just to see for a change in lights.

Right now I've got about.... 8-9 clfs already, plus a few tube fluorescents in my box, but hey, great idea mate. I'll jot this down for me second grow! :D

I've got no bloody idea, but I've found some on ebay for about... 30$ CAN S/H included.

Otherwise, I guess that merits an investigation! Guess I've be going off to the great "Canadian Tire" Store to check that out.

Just save up some money and get either a CFL flood light (30-40$usd) or a CFL grow light >>>one of my friends tried useing one of those lights and it almost burned his apartment down the yellow plastic started smoking and melting.....not good.:leaf:

I have one of those lights in your original post in my basement it says on the back do not use in dwellings and they are very hot anyways. The light in pbfseedco's post looks like it would grow you two very nice plants.

It's not the growing I'm interested in. Growing lights, I have plenty of, and I can easily access others. It's the flowering ones that are more problematic, since I'm looking for a max. wattage. But anyways, thanks for the input all. + Rep! :D
