Low Budget System Help

Ive done a season outside and ive moved more into the city so its harder to do it outside so ive been thinking about getting a good indoor set up for my OG seed that I have under two cheap 20 dollar wal-mart lights. Its about 16 weeks and about a foot. But After i finish this plant. I was thinking about getting a to get at least 6 plants going. I dont have much money and I cant run too hot of lights in the room. What would be my best lamp for the best price?

i dont think your plants would be too short for flower. im waiting on my clones to reach 1 foot then im going to swich the lights to 12/12
if you can i would run a 400w light they are good. try to find one on ebay. i got my digital light for 158 after shipping.

Ill look into the 400w but that wont be enough to grow 6 plants after will it?

THE 400HPS IS good for 6 to 10 plants but if you want to grow more i would get a 600w. but i wouldnt grow more then 8 plants under a 400 remember what ever hight they are they will most likely double when they go to flower 12/12

Now if i get a 400w or a 600w hps how much heat will that produce? I cant put much ventilation in.

my 400w gets my room warm. but my next pay check im going to get a cool tube and set up a ventelation with a fan. my window gets sun shining through it all day.

Yea cant deal with too much heat. how does the t5 tubes do? Can you run these on veg and flowering?

Pic update, gonna purchase a 400w hps in about a weed and start flowering. this plant has never had any nutrients. before I put this under the 400hps should I do anything to it?

If you really have no way to control heat then get a 250 watt and add highly reflective material to the walls. 400watt lights do produce some pretty serious heat in a confined space. With no vent, it will drive your temps up pretty quick. A T5 array of roughly the same wattage will produce as much or more heat than a single HID lamp. T5 arrays have multiple bulbs and multiple ballast producing heat.

Yea ill only be living in this house for a few more months then i should be moving where i can do some venting. 250w hps wont be powerful enough to produce the plants i want.
