5 o'clock's subcooled garden.....

I made up 4 new boxes today with soil. I will be planting all my rooted cllones this weekend. I will be putting the SD, the 2 Chernobyls, and the Vortex and put them all in the same tray. I feel they will all have similar height gains and are a better match than the 2 Chernobyls, JTR#2, and DQ#2. The Ch are waaaaaay taller.

The DQ#5 clone had stem rot from the cloner making me think the water is to hot. I put the ballast under the tub to help heat the water in the winter and guess it's getting to hot in the summer. I will move them tonight. This batch of clones hasn't been as perkey since the whole no water for 7 hours thing. I think that with the warm water is why some are taking so long to root.

The mom's need trimmed again. It looks like I will waste a lot of clones until I get the number of mothers I want to keep down to a managable number of superior plants since it's for me and not to sell. I hope to get a deep freeze and put some away so I can tear things down for a few years.

I recloned DQ#5 and put it in the cloner this morning.

I guess the plants have enough roots to go in soil now. I put the Ch#2's in with the SD and the Vortex. Then I put the2 rooted JC#1 clones and filled the tray with them. I think they can veg for a couple weeks but the CH's will get only one.

The cloner looked empty so I cut some more of the CH plants to keep their height down. I also cut 4 more SD's and 2 more Vortex and 1 DQ#2. The moms are bushing out. The DQ is wide as hell. I cut it's tallest branch.

Ch #2 was about 24" tall so I took 4 cuttings from it and brought it down to size. CH#1 I only took one cutting. I moved the ballast from under the cloner and hopefully the lower temps will help them root faster.

Here are some of the second to last harvest pic's. There's a lot more weight to this batch. I still have 4 trays left in flower and all of them will be out in a week or 2, just in time for the new batch. I figure by the end of october I will have most of my mothers selected.....

looks like you got ur progress moving. n'moving on. excellent work. I'll be interested what you end up with in October .... thanks for the great updates!

It appears that DQ#2 is a male. Even though the preflowers looked female it threw balls in flower :finger:. I will take it out ot the tray tonight and put it in it's own pot. I will grow it out like I did the others and put it outside to finish. That leaves Ch #1&2 and the JTR#2 still in flower.

lookin good man i really like pic 6,7,8 good job keep it up:weed:

DQ#2 got the boot last night. I pulled the mother (father) plant and moved the clone that was in the tray into it's own pot so when it gets close enough I can put it out side to finish. I transplanted the DQ#5 to the larger pot and just in time it was almost root bound.

I chopped some more clones from the mothers because they were getting way tall. I had to double up on clone spots with 2 cuttings in each cup there were so many. I got rid of the 2 DQ#2 clones and when i went to fill their spaces I discovered that I should trim the rest before they got to big.

The new trays that have been rooting almost 4 days are looking good. I have the next round of trays ready for the next group of rooted clones. I will wait til the 2 trays are ready for flower in a week and a half to keep my cycle spaced....

Thank you. I can't wait to narrow down the number of plants I have to manage....

hey man ... looking solid .... thanks for the update ... walking on!!~~~

No problems friend. It will start getting crazy in about 2 weeks when all these clones start to root and I have a full garden again!

Here's the last of the old. Maybe another week. Some of the smaller ones I pollenated with the SD so I'm going to wait til the seeds mature before i kill them.....

happy halloween indeed! you'll need a bong-o-lantern, won't u?

http://www.veoh.com/videos/v1376700acgWZKwY

I've stopped by your thread but I can't ever seem to catch up on all the reading and the comments I would make would have been off topic by the time i typed it. I'm watching even if I haven't posted. I had to catch up to page 90 out of 96 earlier but then I had to clean house. Gotta please my lady.....:fire:

no worries man, you're always welcome, when you can, if you can. I looked at my trichs again today and I do believe I will chop the top44 lady tonight. If not then soon. My DQ teenager is showing lotsa trichs already so far .... even just in this first week of flowering (I mean since I saw the .... the MM is in week three of flowering ...... I have had to tease both of them over because having veged too long they got too tall .... so they won't be "pretty" plants ... but they should be "productive" plants .... Walk on!!~~~~

I put the tray with the JC #1&2 that have been rooted for three weeks along with the ones that have only been vegging for a week and put them in the flower room with the other tray.

I moved the DQ male out. I will give the tray with the Vortex and SD some more veg time. I want these two to stretch a little before I flower them. I topped the taller Ch#1 and the other CH is very small anyway so it won't hurt them to go another week or 2 vegging. I may wait and put them in with the tray I filled last night in 2 weeks.

These are vigirous growers and I can see that I'm glad I started when I did because if I had let these go any longer they would be way outta control. I hardly feed them anything it's mostly from the rich soil mix I'm using.....

My clone tray is way full with almost every spot doubled up.... Which isn't a bad thing as some of these clones don't want to root and rot out before they can make any. Some of them root or form rootbuds in less than 7 days.

I really don't float around this site much anymore because I usually don't have time but I was checking out threads today and without trying I got a question answered that had me puzzled. I have to go out of town for a week and wasn't sure how i was going to water my plants. but I think I'm going to go to wally world and get some aqua globes. I didn't want to spend the money on getting a bunch of them and then having them just lay around and I have a spare pump and a 7 day timer that I could hook up to water while I'm gone, but what if the power fails or the pump fails. Then someone advised that I get them use them for the week then take them back as they usually take anything back anyway..... None of the plants are that big this time around and shouldn't take more than 2 per tray. I can just leave the clones in the cloner. A huge storm went through yesterday and knocked out power for 2 hours. It looked like a war zone just half a mile from my house. This is the second time I've been missed by a tornado by less than a mile in 4 years.....

The Chernobyl's have really put on a stretch. Each of the blocks are 8" tall. If you go back you can see that I put them in flower when they were 8-10" tall and now 2.5 weeks in Ch1 is over 24". The JTR#2 at the other end looks like a miget next to the Ch's. The buds are starting to form so I'm hoping they are done growing and now will just fill out.....

The JC2 clones are doing well also. The JC#2 is way taller than #1 and has alot of undergrowth. The 2 on the left are JC#1 clones so I only have the 1 JC#2 clone in there. I tried to get some pic's of the tripple node structure on the JC#1 top. Again none of the side branches took on this trait.

The newest batch is the tray on the left. The SD in the back had been in shock from the transplant but seems to have snapped out of it. The rest are looking great. The cloner is full again but as you can see in the far back on the right, not all the clones are making it. Right now it doesn't matter because I have so many but I'm curious as to why it's happening to only a few of the clones and not all? I would think if one was having a problem and dying like that then all of them would. Oh well.....

The Chernobyl's get roots soooo fast I'm having a hard time keeping up with them. They are the majority of my clones at the moment because they thrive so well. I just hope they kick some ass.....

Lastly is the pic of the DQ male. He is outside for the rest of his short life.....

And then there's the lovely ladies that are way deep into flower. They are monsters. The little bud has been pollinated by the SD and the seeds are starting to break through. What do you think? Another week or 2? I haven't checked the trics in a few days but when I did they were mostly all cloudy with only a very small number being amber..... Did you see the seedling the little seedling that is the last pic? It is all stretched out.....
