I think my girls are growing balls, im supper bummed, i thought everything was going super smooth.

One night i noticed it was 5 minuets past the usuall time the timer clicks of so i turned it off. My cabinet is pretty sealled but there is possible nicks where minimul light could creep in durring the night cycle.


Does there NEEED to be absolutly positivly no light durring the dark cycle?

I don't know for a fact, i've been told by some experts on this site that environment plays the roll in determining gender. Supposedly, the sex is determined by genetics. I thought I have read that an interfered light schedule or stress can cause them to become hermaphrodites, (at a last resort to survival, plants can pollenate themselves). I don't think a little light hurts, think about the light from a full moon on outdoor plants.

to bad about the balls. where they feminized? i just finished growing a green house church feminized. we just vaped some. its some good smoke. it is my avatar. i keep my light on the same 12/12 every day. i leave my closet door open for a 1/2 hour or so after the light and fans shut off. it helps to cool the plants. went to the bahamas for 4 days and left it open the whole time. the room was definitely not completely dark. no problems, 2 oz of quality smoke

Lumens are a measurement of light... So yeah, if the moon throws light, then it's producing lumens. In other words, you want your "night time" to be as positively dark as you can get, but a very low level won't disrupt your flowering.

nahh they were clones. The smell great and have a great indoor profile.

Thats interesting man, i just have a quarter inch slit on the bottom thats open and the exaust fan as shown. So i take it you didnt get seeds....

Ya idk man its pretty frustrating because i know the moon produces light so i didnt stress the tiny bit. The timer is off for a little longer than 12 hours.... shouldnt be a problem. The only other thing is that 5 minuet light regiment shift a week into flower, actually it was more like 25 minuets now that i think about it. But yeah man the Church are looking beeautiful other than that. just starting to get some spiders, ill have to read into that.

Interesting. ya it seems the ones closer to the bottom slit are the ones with the balls, the ones farther away dont.
