i have two plants both have balls on them but thay also have what looks like buds

That sucks! Its a hermaphrodite. If the seeds were female or it came from a female clone it cant pollinate your plants. Plus the seeds will be female. If its from regular seeds it will pollinate the crop! Good Luck!

IF it is doing it early on in life you should look for new seed stock. The less seeds the more the good stuff. If you think you may have stressed them and caused it then keep going and if you are nicer to the next round you may have female plants a plenty.
