My room is a 4sq. foot growroom and the light cant go higher then 3 feet from the ground. My plant is 5 inch's high and including the pot 13 inchs high from the ground. its day 27 and I want to start on day 30. If I flower now could it still grow to 3 feet tall:?: Leave any comments you want, thanks.

Looks like done a good job in keeping it growing as short and bushy as possible as they have quite little vertical growth. 3ft is cutting it close though and I think you will be pressed for space nearing the end of flowering..

I would expect all plants to stretch 3 times their height when switching to flower. I just do this so I know for sure I'm not going to run out of room, because most plants (except for pure sativas) only stretch about 2 to 2 1/2 their height. This is just me basing this on all the grows that I've read so far, including my one harvest.

lookas like youre vegging under HPS - nice. You have very little vertical grow room, 3 feet minus the container height, minus the space needed to prevent heat stress - I dunno man. Is it possible to transplant to an even shorter conatiner, perhaps a wide tray? Looks like you'll be growing just the one plant - hope its a clone, but doesn't look it. Hate for you to spend all that time and $energy$ on pollen. Regardless, you're gonna want to LST that bad boy soon, I suggest tying and stretching throughout its flowering period as well. Best of luck to you, but I think you will face some challenges in the coming 2 months.

Couple of suggestions.
1. The bigger the pot(container) the bigger the plant. Keep them in 8"-10" pots.
2. Keep the lights as close to the top of the plants as you can.

My flower cab only has about 3" or growing area and I haven't had any problems. But then I'm only using a 270 HPS in a cooltube.
