Hey guys just wanted to share my little setup to show how I am growing my slh! It is in a four foot by four foot closet with an eight foot ceiling. To try and keep the insects away and also keep dust off of her I employed a technique used in mold remediation and created a negative pressure room. It is pretty simple to create negative pressure, I already had the high output fan 2500 cubic foot per minute on low setting. I removed the door to the closet, and attached a rectangle box that I have opened on both ends in the middle of the doorway at the top. One end of the box is left open and the other end has double layer trash bags taped into a tube and attaching to the high flow exhaust of my fan put into the top of the closet. Around the open box i pinned up a comforter that was thin enough to act an air filter intake to catch dust and bugs, but also allow the air to flow into the closet. It creates a gentle solid breeze throughout the closet without being too rough on the plant and helps maintain the closet at a nice 79 degrees. I just have to raise one corner to get into the room as shown in attached pics. I am using a 400w gavita high pressure sodium bulb, I started the plant under a 125w full spectrum cfl.
