It's almost harvest! looking for predictions

I personally never let my soil get bone dry like so many talk about. I check her oil every day (finger up the pots butt) If it's potting soil dry and really dry on top it's time to water. If she were in the ground I probably would either water till she looked over watered or wait to water until she says she's thirsty.

I don't know much about growing herb but the rest of my garden has done well for years. I read books, listen to my elders and watch the plants reaction.

Yield? Just wait, it will come...the Indicas in So Cal are blooming really early and very far along. Could be an early harvest on those for me. My bushy sativa is flowering so slowww it could be November.

I showed you my 6X6 plants and the final product...lets see your proof of 5 lb plants

After all this defending you've been doing to protect your credibility as a cannabis cultivator I wouldn't recommend it for making you feel too good about yourself. or your ability to measure...those hardly look 6x6 lol

And I am not someone who surrounds my life and fills my camera with pics and videos as if it were my first grow. Nor have I smoked my own weight in bud since I was 20. My camera, phone, computer, and other storage devices are filled with my life experiences I have with my friends and family, hence why I said I don't have any pics to post but will go home to tonight to take some.

You remind me of a good friend I have who swears all he wants out of life is lots and lots and lots of money. But because he has yet to ahcieve it he doesn't realize that really what he wants is what the money can bring you. You sound so wrapped up in your own success in cannabis cultivation that pure karma may be the one thing holding you back. And you haven't even realized that after 30 years of growing and the level of potency you seemed to have sustained in regards to how you feel about your work is at the very low end compared to other gardeners.

Its people like you that make these sites not worth socializing on. I didn't mouth off to you or criticize your ability....you sure heaped it on though...what's up with that? all I asked was to see what a plant that yields 5 pounds looks like..I have never seen one in my life..Chill

Art,

I am sorry, I think I only took offense to your comment about your buds tasting better because you don't use chemical fertilizer after I had just said that I make my own tea, and use molasses as well. And then felt it was very frustrating to have someone ask for pics after I had said I don't have any and will go home tonight to get them. But here's a video from last year of what 5 lb plants look like.

That's B.S ..Yes you tube has lots of grow sites...that proves nothing about 5 pound plants..And I know for a fact that isn't your garden .I saw another grow op video with CBS interviewing the grower in Mendo...He had 8 foot plants (much bigger than your you tube vid) and stated he got 2 pounds of bud per plant in the interview.....
Show me your plants and shut up...Don't give me the BS about your camera and computer security and family...blah blah blah....that was lame..
Well.....................

5 pounds per plant? I gotta get me some magic beans too... kidding man... I certainly don't have the experience or expertise of artbud, but have grown a plant or two over the years and would very very happy with 10+ oz from a plant. I would love to see pics of a plant that produced several pounds... wow.

Hello Artbud/Ceilingbeds
A 5lb plant is not unheard of, but very rare. I will side with Artbud on this topic (way off thread) . I think the proof is in the pudding;

These plants are bigger than 2lbs. This guy is lieing for tax reasons or something like that.

OK OK I was hoping for 2lbs plus with this plant. Now who knows. Oh well I can wait.

I let my soil dry out before watering. About 10 gallons slow pumped every 3 days.

Damn, that is a whopper and certainly will have a nice impressive yield. I wouldn't venture a guess but 32 ounces would be a feat to be sure... Sure hope you get there!

I wish I had the balls to plant in the ground, but in pots my girls rarely get much over 5'.
