I have a small glass bowl that is well resinated, but it's all very oily resin. I have a tiny flat head screw driver that I normally use to collect resin, but it's not solid enough.

Plus it couldn't reach next to the bowl, on the opposite side of the carb.

So I took a small wad of rolling papers, shoved it in the carb, swished it around with a flexible pipe cleaner, then was able to pull it out.

Its a pea sided gooey thing that looks like a roach what was squished with a shoe. lol

Let's see what happens!

What are some odd things you've done when you are out, and can't get a hold of your connections?

ive scraped 1000s of pipes

you cant find a paperclip to scrape with? i always keep a few around in case of emergencies

I do, and tired, but it sooo oily, that is just wipes it around inside the pipe part of the bowl

Last time I tried to use a paperclip to go in a carb, and around the bowl to a motherload of resin...I broke the pipe.

I dislike using glass, but I like the way but tastes in it.

And what I just did, seemed to work a little.

Just a little.

J/k.............we have all done it. its been a loooong time since i was that broke to let myself get anywhere close to running out of herbs .....PAPER CLIPS are hands down the best tool for getting at the resin Without breaking your pipe. Did i hear you say that you broke yours with a paperclip so are using a Screwdriver instead?...........that doesnt make sense..

i thought the same thing. if a paper clip broke your bowl it was the way you were scraping, or the quality of the bowl. and i cant imagine a screwdriver being very safe

I see how that can be confusing.

I have one of those tiny flat heads, used for glasses, or computers or whatever. It's been heated to scrape blows so much, it has a protective coating of resin on it lol.

I just scrape in one direction, or swirl it around.

The paperclip was one of those thick ones. I bent it on a weird angle, and was trying to reach through the carb, around the bowl, to the other side. It was putting pressure on the edge of the carb, and caused it to break.

I used to have one of those basic metal pipes. You know, where the bowl and everything comes unscrewed.

I had it so long, that the ends of the main part started to rust! O_O

That's why I stick with glass now.

Also, while I am broke, I do have $40 aside for when I can find stuff. My hook up, her phone is broken, so it's a huge pain in the ass.

have you tried cleaning your pipe from your mouth peice area like stick the paper clip in backwards and pull it out that way. i dunno that how i reach my motherload of resin
