i thot about ebb and flow some mysef. discounthydro sells a sweet settup, buckets ,the little rocks ,hoses and pump,.all yu do is fill up that resevoir ,turn it on and it pumps water and oxygen to each.thier all connected together.jus before yu turn it on ph water and nute.look real simple even for someone like me.but i switched my mix and increased perilite and yields are good enuff for me as is.but wen i move i want full soiless settup.....maybe both..rdr.

I personally, believe that soil is the way to go. Having tried both several times I think soil gives a unique flavor that I just can't match with my hydro set-up. Maybe its just me, but hott damn do I loves me some organic dirt grown ganj.

thats always been the debate with both. hydro gives yield and decent strength where soiless mixes with bat guano, fish emulsion, etc on organic mix gives yu decent yields, dankier , and def. stronger weed. i've had both and jus doesnt compare to soiless, maybe i'm jus a burnout, i dont know, lol, later.

If I had a bigger area I might try hydro but in a small space, the simplicity of soil works best for me. I water them with FF Organices every few days and that's about it. I'm on a private well and don't even test my water.

I also think that soil is more forgiving. I've had disasters galore ranging from a power outage that had my plants in 24 hour darkness and below freezing temps for over two weeks. I've over nuted, forgotten to water and overheated. I've never lost a plant that's at least a month old, I was death incarnate on young clones when I first started growing. :dunce:

Dirt is all ive ever grown in, about to try the Hydroroad over the winter though.:weed:
bountea is the shit, I think that is what you were going for right? if you want to go soil less you could try coco and go that route, just make sure you get good coco. as you said before in your shack, as soon as you get the indoor down the out door season is back. Just stick to the out door and use your indoor for seed starts and night time sup light. Indoor is nice, but the hum and noise and high power bills are just no fun and it draws more attention to you too. Soil is easyr though. if you want to try some godan they just came out with the 12" blocks but for high # the 6" blocks work great and are way easy to set up and flip rooms.
