Hey there! I have a plant that has been kept alive for the last 11 months using 5 soft white lightbulbs and the window when there is sun lol. anyhow, the top snapped off awhile back and i stuck it in a cup of water and it grew roots so i planted it in a plastic cup for awhile. I just recently transplanted it and it went nuts and grew a few more limbs even tall than that its head!.

I have never given this plant any sort of fetilizer, rooting hormone or anything else like that. I just baby it every day and groom it occasionally. I really want to see if it will produce buds.

It has pistils all over the place and I've been keeping it on a 6hrs light/18 complete darkness schedule for a week now. Will this tiny little plant even produce buds?? is their anything i can do to increase its yield at this point?

the strain is silver haze/master kush.

thanks!

Don't do the 18/6 of light if u want it 2 Bud. 12/12 as previously stated will make it bud, but I wouldn't invite any1 over 2 party with u come harvest time lol.

lol you have it backwards, i meant 6 hours of light, 18 hours of darkness. I'm doing this because i don't have direct sunlight in my house for more than 6 hours.

I just recently put a fan on it so it is looking a little tougher than my previous post.

will update pics soon!

i dont think your understanding the message, it HAS to get 18 hours of light if you want it to veg. If its not getting that well look at your plant... thats what it gives. Flip it to 12/12 to get it to flower.

11 months holy shit.... you shouldve harvested like 3 crops or more already in that timeline.

like zig zag says put it outside and leave it alone

Indeed, 6 hours of light is barely enough to sustain it, mate. I mean, I'm almost surprised it's actually grown any. Even mine of about 5 weeks old looks healthier than that!

ANyways, if you want it to have any chance at producing, aim for a 24h light schedule. I mean have lights on for 24 a day, that should help it out a lot.
Otherwise, agreed with ZigZag, just leave it outside, that WIll help it a lot.

6 - 18 doesn't work for a plant in general. A normal light schedule is 18-6 or higher. And it'll start to flower under a 12/12 schedule.

Usually, large variations like yourself will cause... Weird plants, or dying ones, simply.

read the faq and start over indoors and take that plant and dig a little hole and fill it with good soil and plant it in the hole and then water it and hope for buds
