20 20 20 is something you wouldn't want to feed it during flowering, so ya, that other stuff would probably work ok.

20-20-20 is definitely for vegging. Definitely switch to the other feed, or something like it.

I personally use 20-20-20 for vegging, 10-30-20 for flowering :leaf:

Thanks for the help guys! I figured I shouldn't run the 20-20-20.

So I really want to use molasses but dont know how much or how often. Figtree can you let me know what your schedule is for molasses. Thanks

I use the molasses in between nute feedings. I usually fert about once every 10 days, but this year during my veg session, my plants were demanding water every single day, sometimes twice, depending on the heat. So that leaves 9 days of just water. Every fourth watering I'd use Molasses.

Superthrive is a good supplement product to use and is NOT a fertilizer so it cannot burn the plants. You can use it all the time and gives the plants a solid foundation for a good root system. Better the root, the better the shoot.

SThrive will slow flowering . . . it's written on the bottle. Use when active vegetative growth is happening/desired.
It's a kick-ass product for seedlings, clones, and vegging, IMO.

Thanks for the help guys/gals I will use my 15-30-15 and feed molasses every other watering when im not using nutes. What exactly does the molasses help with?

SThrive will slow flowering . . . it's written on the bottle.

I have seen that very same claim about SuperThrive several times before but unless they have changed what is said on the bottle and or on the piece of cardboard it comes attached to then the claim is bunk.

I purchased a new bottle of SuperThrive several months ago. I just read every single word on the bottle and on the piece of cardboard the bottle comes attached to and it did not say anything of the sort.

It actually says it gives more flowers and longer lasting more beautiful flowers. (of course the lasting and beautiful part is about ornamentals, not 'herb'.)

Yes, I agree Brick. Superthrive is really a soil conditioner and vitamin supplement additive.

By giving the plant...any plant....all the little but important vitamins and amino acids, the plant builds a bigger & healthier root system, which in turn should give you a bigger veg along with bigger buds.

All I can say is that a strain I've been growing for over two years takes almost 3 weeks longer since I've implemented SuperThrive . . . even w/o using it during 12/12 . . . and the buds haven't suddenly gotten bugger or anything like that.

I'm certainly not in the habit of posting unsubstantiated claims . . . I'll find the data if it exists, if not, oops.
I just wouldn't make something like that up for fun.

Update: After a few hours of research on this matter, there doesn't seem to be anything definitive, tho many different forum "opinions" lean towards increased flower times, often attributed to an alleged SThrive ingredient, Urea, which is N, but needs microbial action to be converted.

Here you go.....

For weed or any other garden plant, blackstrap molasses (unsulphered) is the best choice because it is the most nutritionally valuable of the various types of molasses since it contains the greatest concentration of sulfur, potash, iron, and micronutrients from the original cane material. So it's not just the sugar content that makes molasses useful, but its trace minerals.

Molasses is also an excellent chelating agent, which means that it can help convert some chemical nutrients into a form that's easily available for organisms and plants to use.

The blackstrap molasses (unsulphered) is a liquid molasses that can be used alone, or as a component in both sprays and soil drenches, and can be an important addition to your organic fertilization program.
