for every one who has been fallowing this thread, i have a led test coming up on my next grow.
another led company donated me their led unit saying test it agianst the prosource 180w. the other company is called hydro grow led, they gave me their 126w to put up agianst my 180w saying it will beat it. ill post a link on here once i start this.

i want to test differnt leds units that are donated to me so us the people can find out who has the best leds to grow cannabis. i am sick of seeing these false claims, people not getting the yeild they where told to get, cheap e-bay ripoffs. so i will test leds and find the real deal. every thing will be the same in the test but the lights, same room with a wall blocking the others light.

This is killer and and I am pumped I came across this post today.

Question, what is your plan for for Germination during this test?

I think I am going to make the jump into the great world of LED. The thing I am stuck on though is what I should do pre-flower.

i will be using clones, and the first light that makes them hit 15" will start the 12/12 cycle. so its a test on what light veges best and of course flowers the best.

Do you think that using either of these from seedlings would work with no other light? I just am getting into the LED and want to make sure I will only need the one light for now

ya you should be good to go. ive seen tons of leds growing from seed up

I have actually been following some of your other stuff on a different site. The one with BF, ring a bell?

It seems you are still moving forward with the LED situation. I was about two clicks away from a prosource 180W, but then got stumped.

Whats your call, should one go for it??

yep that rings a bell.lol..

its realy hard to say if you should or shouldnt, because i havent done a full grow with this 180w yet. its only been 2weeks using this light.. it seem to make my plants blow up once i used it. i know my buds will be dense. i dont know if it would be equal to a 600w hid through?

do u need a light right now? how many plants u going to do? all this will help u decied. i think this light should only be used at 12" and that should give u about a 3x3 area give or take. so it all depends on what size grow area u need to do

if u dont need a light right now then you could always wait untill my next grow when i do that led challeng and see what hapens.

Yes, seeking one soon, the heat from hid is just too much. The area is 30" x 30" x 60" So A foot away sounds sweet. If it gave me a 24" sq. footprint at less than a foot away, it sounds like it would easily outperform the 400W hps, esp with temps in the low 90s.

So I did som exploring around town this weekend and some of the local clubs have some lemonade with a kick added

$13 for a little bottle and what a kick I drank some think morning around 9 and it just wore off a 1/2 hour ago so 8 hours

Whoa boy!!

And in another part of town I found a club that sells clones, they had SS +shiva, LA confidental which is what I was looking for, Romula, and a few others

I have been soo busy with work but I am getting some dirt in the next couple night and heading back, who know when those things will sell out

Glad to hear your kids are dense that is good to know

Keep up the good work and I may call them on the discount and see what happens

see the thing is every grower id diff. ive seen some crazy 400w hid grows that got a pound off of 2 plants. the only way anyone can say it will out do a 400w is if somone had both leds and a 400w to compaire and it was the same grower. i dont know what it would match up to in HID terms because i havent done a full grow yet with this 180w.

i use leds because its 100F* plus over here right now, so my 1000w hid would be too much extra heat right now for me.

i dont think led companys should compaire leds to hid, but leds in its own class agianst other leds.

shit that drink sounds good! 8hrs? thats bad ass bro. romula is some killer weed, one of my favoirts ive smoked and would love to get some clones for my next grow.

I got 2 bottles on lemon on Strawberry

The berry was very good, I drank a 1/4 the 1st time and had another 1/4 and it really hit me for most of the day

Very good stuff, and very tasty

Let's just say I am going back for a six pack of that stuff

Heya Irish, and everybody else, there should be a 180W Jumbo hitting my steps within a week! Right now the heat is beyond an issue, as nothing has grown in 2 months! Ah!

Hope I didnt make a big arse mistake....
