White Widow//Mama Mia//Skunk [Lo-bay Closet Grow]

been having a think about flowering, planned to start on the 1st of sept..
I have good direct sunlight most of the day outside, and I also have my 250w MH (yes mh, can't afford hps right now) 10" high in a closet with mylar.. which one would you guys go for in the 8 weeks of flowering?

I'm thinking that if i put them outside, I'll put them outside for 12 hours and then bring them into my closet for 12 hours. the 12 hours of light they get will include sunrise/sunset when the light isnt as intense.. is this still better than my 250w mh up close?

got some Yates Thrive soluble flower & fruit plant food. Will start tonight and will be using throughout flowering; what dosage do you guys recommend? They're between 7 and 20 days old, going into 12/12 in a couple days.. 1/2 strength for the older ones?
I've also heard good things about molasses, what do you guys reckon?

I had someone else tell me about Molasses too, but im unsure of the mixture. your lst looks awesome. are you really going to flower after 21 days? i am goin gto wait i think for week 5 or 6 but thats just because i was fucked for the first 2 weeks with a halogen bulb. cant wait to see what yours look like next week man. Me you and newbganjafarma are all on the same time line, all within a day of each other.

Yep 12/12 starts tomorrow, reason being that I can't have them taller than 18" at harvest. Planning on LSTing throughout flowering or maybe for just the first half of flowering, what u guys reckon?

i still dont know a whole lot about LST. just from what i have seen online videos on youtube etc.... i saw some pretty sweet vids though on LST, and i considered staring with mine. but i dont know, i dont want mine taller than 4 feet. so i may just stick to a 3 gallon bucket

Yeah I'm going through with it because my 250w isn't the best of light they could have so I want a nice even canopy to make the most of it

I put the whole lot into flowering today, switching the timer to 12/12.

Just to sum it up, there are 9 plants in action here-
4 big pots: skunk1, WW1, WW2 and mama mia1
3 small pots: WW3, WW4, WW5
plastic bottle: mama mia2
plastic cup: skunk2 (stunted from early abuse)

Group pic - between 10 and 21 days old

The skunk1 on day 21

white widow1 on day16

stunted bagseed skunk and mama mia2 in cups before I transplanted the mama mia2 into a plastic bottle. WW1 and WW2 in the background in big pots

WW3, WW4 and WW5 all 9 days from sprouting.. bit slow I reckon

Thinking of ordering some advanced nutrients Big Bud to go along with the all-purpose plant food they're getting now.. anyone used this before?

All but the two bagseed skunk plants were from feminised seeds so I'll be watching them two carefully.. today is day 1 of flowering, when will they show signs of sex?

just a quick photo update

the ever changing closet setup.. had 4 computer fans but couldn't figure out how to fit them into my setup, ended up carving into a polystyrene box to hold them up. Also put a hole through the side to put in a 50w 2700K CFL to add to the light

Next two pics are of the oldest bagseed skunk, responded well I reckon to the LST as the lower branches and leaves have been growing quite fast in the past few days.

i love your setup! by the way metal halide is an excelent vegatative growth lamp. recommend using hps for flowering, they arnt so dear when you think about the yield! PEACE

can't really afford an hps at the moment so I'll be sticking with the mh for this grow throughout.. maybe upgrade in the future.

the stunted bagseed skunk slowly making it back

Ever since they started getting big bud and the all purpose nutes the new leaves have fattened up (looks squishy) and have a blueish tinge on them.. is this good? bad? This one has it the most:

i cant wait to post new pics of what my set up looks like now. i have a way better light set up bro. WAY BETTER! i love how you are using pipe cleaners for your LST. i am using twist ties.

Anyone know how long I'm looking at until seeing the starts of some buds? 7 days into 12/12 now

usually takes 2 weeks i think! thats usually how long it takes to find out when you flower a clone when you are sexing them

Been over a week since lights were switched to 12/12, some of the older ones starting to show some white pistils.. including the bagseed skunk (the only non-feminised seed).

Watering twice a week, feeding every other watering with half dose of all-purpose plant food (15:4:26) and half dose of advanced nutrients big bud (0:1:4). They weren't fed anything during their 2-3 weeks of veg time.. what do you guys reckon about this nute regime?

Newer fan leaves were looking fatter darker and almost droopy after their first couple feedings.. maybe too much K? but this got better after their next watering (no nutes) and they looked healthier.

back: 3 WW seedlings
front left: stunted skunk no longer stunted
front right: mama mia 2 now stunted.. I think it was all the transplanting and the shitty soil its in (100% peat potting mix)
