?Loud music during dark cycle?

Hey guys, I've got a grow cabinet in the back of my studio.

My question is: Would loud music during dark cycle be a cause for any concern for my plants which are flowering?

i would bet money to say that it doesnt matter. I dont think any sort of dynamic range of amplitude would affect your plants. No matter how high the decibel level you think you are at. I think if you are tracking or mixing and you can sit comfortably in front of your nearfields/farfields or whatever your using, it's going to be comfortable enough for anyone/anything around you.

Cheers mate. Using nearfields & a sub. Dont always have it loud, but when the sub is switch on everything is vibrating. Just though that it could cause some root disturbance when the plant is resting.

Dont have any light leakage so got that covered. :weed:

Very cool :-o. As far as i knew, plants can have some added benefit from the vibration of the spl in the room. I never tried it but there have been studies done and whatnot. I dont think the vibration would be strong enough to disturb the root mass to the point where it affects growth. even with a sub... I'd say dont worry about it. good to see another audio engineer around, kudos!!

Can confirm that this is true. I've grown a strain in a room in the house before. My girlfriend complained about the smell (don't understand why, it was lovely:weed:) so i decided to do my next grow in the studio to get less grief.

I'm now growing the exact same strain from the same generation plant and it's growing so much better. Much faster and bushier. Just looks happy there, must love it!!

Cheers for the help mate & also nice to see fellow sound junkies on RIU!!
