Easiest I would say would be Soil for the beginner. But I find Hydro to be easier once you know what your doing because things are automated when it comes to waterin ect. But I do like Soil =)

i would disagree being a newbie, soil i find is hard because its soeasy to over water ect, i went straight in to a homemade bubbleponic system letting roots sit and grow in water im on my first propper grow i have 5 females in flower and they are 5 and a half feet tall full of bud good luck

I asked the same question a couple of days ago and everyone told me go soil first for a couple a harvests and after that youll know what to expect from growing, they all told me hydro aint hard but you gotta put in more time.(clogged hoses, cleaning reservoirs, etc.)

Soil.

If you screw something up, its genuinely to one plant.

Hydro growers, what happens if the power goes out(if you don't have generator back-up) for an extended period, or a pump fails?

see with simple bubbleponics ie. tank with few airstones in thats it nothin else easy as that cant really go wrong in my opinion

Soil is a lot easier. I started out in soil but eventually I went total Hydro after I got some experiance with several bag seed soil grows

Depending on how many plants you grow, Hydro at times seems like a full time job like mine is... I run 160 plants in a perpetual grow set up. Or it can be easy if your gonna run just a few plants.

it seems that everyone wants you to go soil just make sure you dont overwater them, look at most of the plant probs yellowing leaves ect, all overwatering or nute burn in soil. good luck

Any soil will work but some are definitely better than others. Quite a few of us use FoxFarms Ocean Forest for soil, I've been very happy with it.
