But I would never pass up 33.6 grams of my own smoke for $50....hypothetically...

It definately wont double your yield but could significantly improve it for the small added expense. Im curious to know if the bud productin at week 3 is as good as you would normally have with your sog lollies?
As for the extra added nutes I think they are well worth it. This is the later stages of week 3 after using Budmeister for the first 2 weeks (along with A+B nutes) and then 7-12days of Monster Bloom. I must say though what you are doing is creating some high quality weed judging from the close ups ive seen. The trich production is crazy so far so you can tell its going to be top shelf smoke.

Gypsy, you mentioned the room was 9'x11' (i'm assuming 8' ceilings), are there only three plants in there? If so, how much room are just the three plants taking? Also, how tall do you ultimately want them to be?(i'm assuming 7ft, but will they get there?

There are the 3 big plants plus two 3x3 ebb flow trays...

and yeah 8' ceilings...

I never made a plan for how tall they would be...

and I never expected them to grow so much...

I'll say this, if she grow anymore, several tops will be higher than the light...

sitting on top of the res as they are, all 3 are taller than 6'... but they sit on top of the res...

if you look at the gram per dollar figure...

Proportionally speaking... the added expense is not small... it's almost a 100% increase in nutes cost...

But I agree that in the real world it isn;t that much money...

I might use what I have here... maybe... I get goosebumps thinking of the pH issues I had...

I have some lollies that were started at the same time...

The lollies deff. seem to be filling in faster...

..

BUT...

you gotta remember, the SOG AND "your" plant have WAY more light than I do...

The SOG's light is 8" above the tops...

in order to cover the whole area.. the 2 lights on the trees are ALL THE WAY UP...

Like I said... these girls could have used 2x the space and 3x the light...

But I think they are doing ok...

But deff. slower than the 15" plants...

I attribute most of your better progress to better lighting though..

I am sure the nutes HELP...

But I am the kinda guy that backs way off the gas (to save gas) and gets there 3 minutes later... happy to stand behind the "lead foo tguy" in line at the gas station 30 miles away... also happy that I saved 10% in gas compared to Mr. lead foot

The 3 sativas are "old hippie clones" and the indicas are all 3 bagseed...:lol:

I don;t know what stimulates trich production... but even my moms have trichs on their leaves...

So here we go... last day of week 3...:lol:






Here we take a look at the girl on the left...

In my opinion, she is the fullest... this was the second plant to get set up...

I may even have troubles with humidity... things are getting tight...
















The we see the poor girl in the middle...

She is the skinniest of the 3... but she doesn't even have her own light...

And out of all my moms... these two were choices #5 &#6... so I guess I can't complain too much...:lol:













And last but definitely not least...

we have the girl on the right... under the Metal Halide bulb...

She was the first one to get hooked up with her own system and light...













and one of those macro shots so that we can see that the trich production has started...:lol:

I suppose I should give credit where credit is DUE though...

My SOG is a COPLETE COPY of Al. B Fuct's System... I tried nothing, invented nothing.. just copied him to the best of my ability...

And the same goes fr this grow...

M Blaze deserves all the credit, for having the patience to teach us all what he does...

I didn't duplicate his system exactly, but without his guidance these plants COULD NOT be what they are today...

And he still held my hand every step of the way...

..

I say we tip our hats.. yes... but to the TRUE MASTER GROWERS of RIU...:clap::clap::clap:
