how long do I got?

the 2nd biggest plant i have at the time, she is starting to turn yellowish on alot of the leaves. The trichs are mostly all milky with less then 10% being amber. I like cutting fairly early compared to most people who have told me to leave it out as long as possible. I had a major ant/spider mite problem, so the white spots on the soil is a "safe" ant killer I tried. seems to be workin at the time.

Just seein what everyone thought on what I should do with this specific lady of mine. Not sure if Ii should hit it with more Nitrogen or just let her keep doin her thing.

The 3rd pic is of the 'sisters'. They are the only two branches I didn't top during veg. The praying mantis seems to be enjoyin itself at least.. Do they(prayin mantis) threaten MJ?

3 weeks seems pretty good. that is a huge praying mantis! leave it there, they are a good thing. they kill plant eating bugs. i would personally just ride out the nitrogen defeciency, it is normal for it to have this defefiency late in flower. your bud looks good, good job

well im in the ozarks.

and all the old timers swear by pickin when the hairs are roughly 80% red (that is when 80% of your hairs are no longer white).

then hanging for a slow cure (7-10days)

thats always given me the best results.

also makes it not impossible to gauge the due date, provided you can guesstimate how long it takes a hair to turn red.

thats

Got to agree with jact55 about yellow leaves, and the MANtis. I like to harvest most of my girls when most trichs are cloudy, and some amber. Sometimes she isn't 100% done, but I get the buzz Im lookin for.

i couldn't agree anymore. i harvested early on one last year and the high was more cerebral than the couch-lock.. The last plant i harvested was in late october and the high that gave me wasn't what i was looking for, i used most of that harvest for sleep aid lol.

I follow FDD's harvesting&curing thread and come out with some pertty good results. usually i'll hang her in the dark for about 4-7 days depending on how dry the buds feel to the touch, then i cut them into smaller buds and mason jar them for at least a 3 weeks cure before I indulge, the longer the better..
I was just wondering what you ment by 'hanging for a slow cure (7-10days)'

Mason jar is also great if you like to see friends with bud envy as they look through the clear glass! "Sorry guys, they arn't quite ready Yet".

hahaha yeah that is a fully grown male prayin mantis. I let him be when i saw him. I wasn't positive if it did any harm, i didn't think they did though. But yeah, alot of people been tellin me thats one of the biggest mantis's they've seen. We have them about another inch or two bigger around here. Spiders are my biggest problem.. that and budrot aka botrytis from all the humidity

Notice how much more mature she looks compared to the previous pics. Only 5 days ago. Not sure if thats normal for the leaves to get that fried lookin, i know they suck all the nutes out the leaves, but damn they are lookin worse for ware. the buds are straight tho :)
