could u tell me wat would be the best light i could use for a closet grow room.. just a few plants??:weed:

I wouldn't use anything less than a 150 HPS. A 250 HPS will still put out a decent amount of heat. If your thinking of minimum airflowing out of this closet I would do a couple of 150 HPS.

Disadvantage of a 150 is anything below the initial canopy won't recieve much light. You'll need to prune and level out the canopy as much as possable for maximum yield. If it's your first grow keep it simple. Less is more is your unsure.

Every ballast kit I have EVER seen can be wired 4 different voltages. 120( which is a normal house hold plug) 240(like an electric drier or stove) 277 and something else I forget.

You need a com(white wire) and the 120 volt (connect to black wire)

The ballas t will have a wire diagram on it.

Yes indeed. I would suggest getting your room up and running before planting. Nothing sucks more than having to constanlty modify the room while in use.

you can grow without a red bulb, buds won't be quite as big, if you can afford it, red spectrum bulb a very good thing
rain water can work, depends on where you live, RO water from chain stores can be quite cheap and good
