its deffinately the heat and maybe you have been watering them when the lights are on which is bad!! kinda boils them. do you have a fan blowing fresh air at them??? this is deffinately gonna stunt growth too. clip all dead leaves it helps conserve energy and get the growth goin again....damn thats horrible they were lookin so good....

I'm in the process of building a new grow room. Just need to cut a few things and it will be ready. hopefully the temps will go way down but the plants have done pretty well while they were in veg with same/higher temps.

Any thoughts on whats going on? It seems so drastic... the changes from no light to light. I'll get some pictures up when they have soaked up some more light.
I thought C02 raises temps?
No c02 will help in a high temp room. Also a little costly but blocks of dry ice, watch the change in temp and plants from c02. Check out Videomans thread on dry ice for c02 and cooling. Do your plants look better after lights out?

Ok I am lost. A fan slowing your growth? A new one to me.. Watering with light on is common. Just dont hit leaves. Your pants need water in day time temps. Clipping dead leaves? Man that a lot of advice in one... hahahha. How dead and why? Leaves help until they are dead and falling off. Some people never trim leaves some trim lower branches to keep good air flow under the plants and through, helps with mold in a crowded room. And some believe it makes everything go to the main colas. I have my way, but to each is own. I tested out half and half on my last grow. gl to you and listen to those girls..

Thanks for the responses. The plants have alway been in 90-100 degree temps with the lights on its just this past day something fell over the intake hole and I think it got too hot. Or maybe they have finally had enough of the heat.

Lately when I have been watering its been every other day I think. And I feed them just after the lights turn on for 12/12 so I don't interrupt the dark phase.

And to saine420, I checked them just a few minutes ago and they look the same after 12 hours of light. Before right after I fed them they perked back up real nice but a few hours later the tips started to bend over and look like the pics.

EDIT: I'lll try a quick fix with baking soda and vinegar(co2) tonight when the lights go back on.

Yea... A pretty big and loud one too, you can see it in the first pages of the journal. The material I used to reflect light in the tub box was insulation and the room was so small the heat just didn't move for some reason. It didn't help that it wasn't getting much fresh air in the closet.

New grow room up and running! Temps are 80ish night 85ish day. But the plants just aren't showing any improvement. Might have to call it soon.

Still pretty rough I wanted to see if everything would fit/work.

Well plant are done for. I've flushed, and ruduced the heat from90-100 to 8-85 and there is no change.

If you look in the pictures the stems are almost white and the leaves are green on the edges with dead brown in the centers. As I've said the temps were always 90-100 with the lights on and the plants didnt seem to mind too much although I'm sure they could have been more full.

Its stange how this all started in a day. My next guess is the vinegar I added to lower the PH. I've heard you can use it and I have been for at least a week or 2. My next grow I'll be getting some real ph+-.

If anyone has any idea on what happened let me know I dont want this to happen the next time. :peace:

Just wanted to post my harvest since it wasnt a total failure. I did get some smokable bud out of it. Even though its only 6 bowls or so... :blsmoke:

Smoked it for fun to see if had produced anything and test out my first grow. Had a few bowls since the first didnt seem to hit me, like I was just smoking leaves of something. I dont know how to explain the taste but it was different and it got the job done so I'm pretty happy even though I paid premium with eletric charges for this small sack. :-?

Got 2 new sprouts going right now I'll make a new thread for that one though. Hopefully they turn out better.
