Turn Mids into Chronic...?

Ok, I was wondering if you take a seed from some seedy mids and grow it into sinsimellia, would it be stronger THC?
Would it taste better? Have a longer lasting high?
The weed the seed comes from has a decent light buzz that lasts about an hour and tastes spicy, dirt or very earthy lol.

Correct me if im wrong but i belive that it will be only as powerfull as the strain allowes it to be. I've seen some awesome looking mexican swag hg on here.

But most brick weed conditions are not properly met on mass production scale...not to mention my last batch tasted like dryer sheets.... im sure if i grew one from seed it wouldnt taste like that...the irony was, it was actually pretty decent once you got past the taste

I was thinking that it might be alot better, if you took good care of it fed it correctly and harvested when it was done. Plus you wouldnt be crushing it into bricks knocking off THC crystals not to mentions the loss in transit here from mexico and such. Really wondering about taste though, be nice to hear from some who have grown out mids seeds and hear their experiences.

Just because you have seeds from a differant country don't mean that it will have a higher thc content than say one bought from a seed company in the netherlands.If you can get hold of some genetics from a differant country then it is well worth a grow.Alot of strains have been found now but i'm sure that some where on this planet there has to be a new strain.If you can find a strain that has not been found yet then there is alot of money to be made.But the chances of finding a new strain are very low and it will most prob be on someones seed site.

i took bag seed planted it took care of it babied it gave it great nutes and it turned out looking like some kush smelling like kush and tasting like kush so... to my opinion just depend on the grower and how u grow it

some of the best weed ever grown was from a bag of mexican dirt. ive been growing bagseed for 9 years and its some dank shit... just gotta grow a lot of em and find the one thats dank than keep it as a mother

actually guys,yeah genetics do make a difference,but in my honest opinion,if you take lets say ten seeds from decent mids,and you get the right pheno-even tho it was bag seed,just growing it sinsemilla will make a difference because the plant can focus all of its energy in thc production instead of seed production,but yes if the weed was decent you might find a diamond in the rough outta that bag of mids

you cant tell how good the genetics are when it was harvested erly hang dried in the heat of the sun and crushed in to bricks than shiped in who knows what maybe thats why some taste like dryer sheets or soap

I think somewhere in one of my post i miscommunitated.

I Buy a bag from my guy, Cost me 75 bucks for a half,

good smoke, but taste like dryer sheets.

i pick a few seeds out, grow them out sex them and grow out the best looking female under the most ideal conditions. My end product will be nothing like i got from my guy, and may even be dam sexy. But at the end of the day the end the potential of the end product will be only as good as the genetics of the strain allow it to be.


I would shocked as hell if my guys brick weed is WW in disguies, but i suppose anything is possible eh?

genetics. They can't be beat. Stuski is right...you can get right up to that strains ceiling with a perfect grow...but never past it.

Bagseeds are 99.9% of the time not as good to use compared to seeds from a seedbank.

i didn't misunderstand i was just saying that you cant tell how good the genetics are and it doesn't need a fancy name to have good genetics....... your guy could grow a good strain and just suck at growing ar treat it like shwag so thats his end product.. its true you cant make the genetics better but chances are the genetics are good and just been mistreated

No matter what knowledge and experience and skills and setup a grower has the very best any can do is to get the very most out of the strains genetics and that is all.

No one can ever do anything that will result in any strain being any better than it genetically can be.

What a grower can do is through lack of knowledge and experience and skills and a setup that is lacking is get less from a strain than it is genetically capable of giving but no one will ever be able to make any strain better than its genetic limitations. Doing that would be utterly impossible.

lol. What I was asking was: If you grow from seed found in some mids, Would the weed not be much better quality than what the seed came from? Just taking well care of the plant and making sure it doesnt get pollinated plus the fact you would harvest only when its ready and you will not be mishandling the herb ie: compacting into bricks, drying poorly, shipping in no telling.
Was hoping for some insight from some folks who have grown out some bag seed...

I may be better, or worse, depending on how well the strain adjusts to it's new artificial growing environment. It's a crap-shoot.

Genetics are everything. Why else would growers pay top dollar for genetics.

just do it. It will probably wind up better than you expect.
use good soil and good nutes.
read up and study, especialy about problems, that way you know what to look for
and can catch problems early, instead of when it might be too late.
you will be all smiles.
