so we rescued this girl... she has a messed up eye, and her fur is really rough. but after her stitches heal, we're getting her professionally groomed, and hopefully the medicine they gave me for her eye will help... otherwise I'll have to take her in for surgery.

she's a sweet heart, and the moment i got to the animal shelter and saw her we immediately made a connection. got her that day and picked her up today.

she IS a bit rough...but is a sweetheart :)

Cool cat. I miss my cat his name was wilson "foo foo blue" Cortez. he was only 3 and all of a sudden died for no apparent reason my other black cat went the same way around the same age.

That is just too cute, yet fucking heartbreaking at the same time. Much respect to you for taking her in and giving her a chance at a life. I hope it works out well for you all.

There's some definate lolcat potential in those pics as well. She looks like a Bond villain in the second one. :grin:

I flea dipped the little stray who lives out on my porch because it was so fucking hot I felt bad for her out there. I got a bite for my troubles, but now she's kicking it with me in my room

Awww.. I love kitties. Just adopted two orphaned little babies myself.

I always forget what breed it is that has the flat face like that...persian?

Mine are either Siberian or Norwegian forest cats, hard to tell the difference.

Yeah she is Persian... so is my fiancee :lol: -- Anyhow I just gave her the eye medication and she started getting all sad... Hurts my soul I hope she gets better :(

Can't wait to get her groomed professionally... she will like that... but she needs her stitches to heal up well before she can be washed, due to the fact that the stitches dissolve slowly over time.

I think this thread will be a good demonstration on how to take a poor tortured kitten nobody wanted and turn her into a cat nobody can resist :)

Yeah, I thnk he got off light for that shit. But at least they are treating animal abuse like an actual crime now but I still hope he rots in hell.

i actually wanted to name my daughter that but her mom would not go for it :( probly a better thing i guess but think about being in high school with a name like that :)

Oh... yeah he's a piece of shit alright... It goes way beyond his treatment of animals... There is a part of him that gets off on watching animals suffer... This is just as evil as a man who gets off on molesting children. These people are poison to the evolution of the human race and need to be executed, not rehabilitated. Maybe it's harsh but that's just me.

My fiancee and I have already decided if we have a girl some day, we're naming her Sativa :)
