Using plain white paper to reflect light

Here is a good question I think. I have read about using flat white paint or reflective mylar to coat the grow room walls, what about plain white paper? No glossy just flat bright white. This may not be a efficient as mylar but compared to paint white paper would be more efficient. Let alone the cost difference. Let me know what you think.

Get a gallon of flat white paint (or a quart if you are doing a small cab.). Paper works too I'm sure but it would be a pain in the ass if you were doing a large room with it. Paint is real cheap.

I've used white posterboard in the past. Decent results but a pain in the ass. I'd say go with paint. Its cheap and available everywhere.

I was just thinking about using thumbtacks. It would take approx 5 min to cover the 3 x 4 X 8ft walls. You really only need about 2 feet in the middle white anyway. Plus a white piece of paper on the wall equals the best evn paint job you could ever do. I dont know, just my thoughts and thanks for the input.
