for $5? only one i found i just happen to find at hardware store and it was a soft white 42w (150w) for $13.99 idk maybe if i could get transportation to the suburbs id find cheaper ones at like home depot or lowes but as of right now im stuck to city bus and going to places close to my turf. The best dollar value on cfls is for 42watt. You can get them for just over $5 each. Two go in a large reflector well with a Y adapter and they are easy to position. I only use T5s overhead and 42s on the sides now.
lmao!! thats kinda exactly wat im doin but with game casess check it out... well my cpu turned off while typing this.. :,((((my system is to wall mount these bulbs(fits into standard socket) and put my pots under old cds an remove cds as necessary.for me it works better than constently repositioning multiple lights.they make them in 6500 and 2700k.i got two of each delivered for less than 30 bucks a bulb.good luck!

it may be the best deal, however, that would be a mess for wiriing, plus way more in Y splitters etc... you end up paying more. for additional cords too,I've never seen them for under $9. Even for $5 that is still not a great deal. You can get a 4 pack of 25 watt Wal-Mart brand CFLs for $7. So that's either $5 for 42 watts or $7 for 100 watts. That's a no-brainer right there.
And that 105 watt CFL monster is probably around $30 or $40. While cool as shit, prob the worst $ per watt deal. And if it ever dies, you lose all your light instead of just a small part of it.
The best deals right now are on 23-26 watt bulbs, both for price per watt and lumens per watt. The main drawback is you will have to be jacking with a bunch of bulbs for a decent grow.
