Can Hydro Clones go into soil

Hi everyone, sorry if this has been asked before but i wasnt able to find an exact answer. i want to start growing indoor soil plants and a buddy of mine already has a hydro operation goin with a good clone setup my question is if he gives me clones that are being prepaired for his hydro system can i plant them into soil with good results i dont exactly know how the cloning process works yet so i wasnt sure if theres a dif proccess for cloning hydro vs soil grown plants. if i can how is it done do you just plant the whole clone with the little foam grow cube still on?

ive done this before, just planted the rock wool with roots in the soil. most leaves died the first night tho it was too warm but i would make sure to water it a lot as the wool dried up the first night.

yah you can. get a humidity dome too.... this really helped me.. babygro wrote the following "You should mist only enough to allow the plant to intake water through its leaves while it develops its own root system and to keep the humidity high under the dome which slows down transpiration and stops the plant losing water from its leaves. The plant needs to develop roots to survive and you want to encourage the plant to send its roots out in seaxch of water and nutrients but if the plant doesn't need water (by over misting) this can slow this process down. You need to find a balance between the two and as the plant begins its root development you slow down and reduce your mistings, in other words you remove the plants reliance of intaking water through its leaves and force it to send its roots out in search of it instead."

You dont have any Root problems leaving the rock wool on do you? and did you bury the wool completely with soil or was it showing?
