bud action starting

Stoked that this one, the bagseed skunk, has turned out female as it was the only unfeminised seed of the lot.
Grew really well, nice and bushy from the start unfertilised until flowering..

Still watering twice a week, every other time with 1/2 dose big bud and 1/2 dose all purpose plant food.. seems to be just right for now.

Getting about 7 hours of good sunlight and the rest of its 'days' under a 250w MH and 50w 2700k CFL.

All the other girls are coming along nicely, just a few days behind this skunk plant.

lol at least its going gd now.

Anyone with any recommendations on when to start feeding with some molasses and how much of it?

I would definitely use the AN Big Bud! I have been using it, as well as Bud Candy and the Connoisseur formulas. They are looking good man!!

I kept this simple as its my first grow.. the 250w was from ebay for 60, rest of the stuff from hardware shops and garden centres.. maybe totalling another 200.

I say start young, train young. Some people start super cropping at the same age so i think that you are good.

Yeah that was what I was thinking with the super early LST.. started when they were only in their second week.

How far into flowering should I be keeping up with the LST? At the moment they are being tied down as necessary almost daily.. but I don't want to prolong flowering by stressing them too much.
Any recommendations??

Not sure what's happened here.. one of the mama mia plants has 3 branches at its top instead of two. This one hasn't stretched at all compared to the others, instead the distance between its nodes are becoming even shorter. Any suggestions to what's going here??

I think I have a male! These closeup pics are of the bagseed skunk at the front in the tall coke bottle.

It has been through a lot, was stunted earlier on and was under some heat stress so I'm not surprised that it has turned out male.

Can anyone confirm pls?

Yeah definitely male.. gna chop it down tonight or tomorrow. Might be an easy answer to this but.. are male flowers smokable in any way? Do they produce thc?
Also going to be transplanting mama mia 2 (the one in the tall coke bottle) into a 1.2gal pot in a 50/50 mix of premium potting mix and vermiculite.

Finding some yellowing on the older leaves working their way up.. I've had to pull off the bottom pair for the big skunk already. Is this N deficiency??



Humidity this morning when I opened the closet up was 50%.. usually its around 30%. This probably led to THIS:

as long as they arent too far away and as long as you dont delay the flowering process any then they shouldnt stretch too much. dont put them too close though MH's produce more heat than most other lamps

hell yea, those thing are looking nice dude, other than those yelow leaves. well, i smoked a joints worth of male, didnt really do anything for me and im a really bad light weight. im 5'7" at 125 lbs if that tell you anything (and male obviously) but i just read that you can make male cannabutter and itll go a longer way that way. that shroom'll probably boost the effects XD

Dr greentrees its simple really, started real early around 3 wks old bent them right over at just above their first true node and just continue this everytime they grow another node. Once I reached the side of the pot I started to go around in a circle, tying them down to the side of the pot with pipe cleaners. Only problem is that my pots are too small so some of the bigger fan leaves are bunched up against eachother or on the soil so they don't get maximum light exposure. But all the little flowers popping up at the internodes do

doogidie thanks man. it sounds like its not really worth it then with the males eh heh.. I fed them last night with some N so hopefully that should clear up the yellowing leaves problem.
Does anyone know if the already yellowing ones turn back to health? Or are those too late to do anything about..

Also.. what's the deal with vermiculite? I got some yesterday and transplanted my MM plant from the coke bottle into a 1.2gal pot. 50/50 mix with potting mix and vermiculite..

I fed it watered it and its moisture retention is a lot higher than expected.. I thought the stuff airs up soil?? Is 50/50 too much then?
