ok enough is enough , on my day off from work today I mved some things around , and added some new things . what I added was 365 cfm intake inline fan and I took out the flouros and put in 1 400w hps in the veg room and kept the other 400w hps in the flowering room added mylar to the inside cover for the room . so it's black on the outside and reflective mylar on the inside . nomore lost light . . I will let the 2 grown plants veg for another 2 weeks and tose them for flowering and I will take a few clones from the plant I did not cut just incase I like it's genes .if I dont I will tose them out also . so by the time the big plants finish flowering the other 6 will be ready to go in . but not without sacrificing one for more clones now .

You were a busy man for a day off! Nice additions and I like your growing plan. You gonna take clones of the clones before you send them to flower after the big girls are done?

And here I was excited to get my 6 - 42 watt - 5000k CFL's (two to a reflector) hung over my tubes!

Come on Purp! I could pull 8 oz easy out of 4 plants! LOL!

A 400 is great for 4 or 5 plants! Will work well. Coverage 4x4 for 4' tubes! What else ya want! LOL!

couse you probably space your plants out and they get light evenly around . I have alot more room for 4 or 5 plants in flowering . the flowering room is the exact same size as the veging room , couse I had all 12 in at once with two 400w =ing 800w , but it got real hot in there .

i agree that 400 is plenty..with maybe 1 or 2 i use 2 4100k spiral cfls for side lighting when they get real big

Yes the tube grow will test my fim, topping and supercropping techniques. I figure this grow since I'm doing 6 reg seed per tube and expect to get 3-4 females that I can spread them out and learn on the fly. If I screw up I'll put it in the "oh, well" bucket and try to do better next time! LOL!

I tryed all of those in this system and I found super cropping to be the easyest out of them all. . I just top twice in the begining to split the plant and then start bending where i need bending

That sure does look like sog! I see things are progressing nicely also!

Got my Sure to Grow for the 3" net pots today. They do have a cut out in the center for their starter blocks ( could put RW in but that wold kind of defeat the whole idea). They stuff tightly in the pots.

I'll be using spongepots from Sannie seed this time to germ to seeding stage.

http://www.sanniesshop.com/spongepot-p-737.html

They are smaller than the hole provided and I will either tear a small piece from the bottom of the insert or use perlite to fill in. Guess I could also buy some starters and hollow them out and insert the spongepot. The sponge pots are in the 20 pack tray and until I load them with water I don't know how big they will get. Feels like nice stuff though. Easy for the roots to get through and head for the water. No washing of hydrotron and no ph effect.

thats good .couse I am going to get those for the next grow room when I get another aparment to grow in . I will buy some buckets , 3 gallons and 5 gallons for ebb and flow in buckets though. I think you know how that set up goes, three gallons inside the five gallons but the three gallons have holes cut out at the bottom fro the water to come ou and drain. I will be aiming for 4000w for flowering and 4000w for veging also. hps and mh mix in each room

Yep, know how those go. They do have the STG inserts for buckets too so I will be your guinea pig on that. Clean and simple is good for E&F or at least I think so. Never underestimate the need for dual spectrum in each stage of the grow. The 400 HPS bulb I got is one of those that have a little extra blue spectrum in it.
