grow box idea

Im new to the growing aspect of mj but i was just tinkering around in my barn and i came across this cedar armoire ... it stands about 6 ft tall maybe a tad shorter two sides.. left side opens by door the length of the armoire. on the right side it has pull out shelves ... now it think it would be really convenient to have veg cycle and flowering cycle in the same box.. i can just rip out the shelves and add a door to the right side.... but the point of my whole babble is will the cedar effect the grow... smell taste.. etc etc... i know i need to line the inside with mylar stilll... i just wanted to make sure ..before i proceded..

It shouldn't, just line the inside w/ plastic(to seal it off, then do mylar around that. if doing a veg room under the flower(I assume taht is what u r doing) I would make a divider shelf. just make sure it will hold the flower room good. other than that u should be good to grow
