new and want to grow in closet

I want to start growing a plant or two in my closet. I was wondering what the easiest and best way to do this. I need help with creating a set up ( what kind of lights to use ) and containing the odor. pretty much i have no idea what i am doing and money is not a big deal. I just moved so I don't really have supplier. any help would be great thanks

I've got a 2' x 3.5' grow area with 9 plants under a 250w MH and a 50w CFL for extra light.

Computer fans and 6" desk fans I got off ebay for ventilation, temperatures are kept between 72-78.

thanks man. I actually just got a 3x3 grow lab setup with a 125 watt compact fluorescent. I plan on starting out in dirt and just see how it goes. But I was wondering if you knew where to get seeds or a smart way to order them (cause I live in the us) ?

You can get genetics a few ways. First, if you know anyone else who grows, try to grab a clone if they will allow it. If you get a good bag of bud you really enjoy and are lucky enough to find a bean, go for it. If you really don't care, you can use any bag seed. If you want to order, make sure you DO NOT deliver the seeds to where you are growing. I personally have used Rhino Seeds (http://www.cannabis-seeds.co.uk/) for 3 orders and they went just fine. Quick shipping, discrete packaging, fair prices, good selection. I recently ordered Subcool seeds from Bidzbay (http://www.breedbay.co.uk/auction/categories.php?show=subcats) and so far it has been ok.
