Dutch Passion Feminized Blueberry - Pictures

Hey guys,

Check out the seedlings just 6 days later. My T5's were way too far away, I moved them to an inch away and also transplanted to 4" pots and...Bingo!! Most obvious thing. No nutes yet, just fresh soiless mix and 6.2 ph water

The reason the lights were so far away was because Jorge's Bible claimed that seedlings only need 400 foot candles of light. According to my new light meter, the seedling were getting 700-800 foot candles of light with the T5 two feet away. So I figured I didn't need to move the light. Can anyone explain this inconsistancy? Are foot candles from flouro's different then foot candles from HID's?

So will these plants be OK after stunting them for a month? I hate to throw them out as they're expensive feminized Blueberry's from Dutch Passion. I ended up with three seedling from 10 good sprouts...Live and learn. They're now showing vigorous growth!!

You need to throw those seedlings out I just read they are 4 weeks old. Those are not gonna make it man. Now to figure out whether its weak genetics, spider mites, nute burn or bad pH.
Hey Bake,

Please check out my prior post and tell me if you think they should still be thrown out.

Thanks!

I decided to bring my six Snow White girls in under the 1000 watt HPS. They started showing white hairs a feww weeks ago outside...I would say they're about two or three weeks on 12/12.

The plants are nice and compact, less then 3' tall. I also fimmed two of them and wish I had done the all. The fimmed plants have four colas and are a nice and short, very easy to manage.

My last crop got seeded from a hermie and the buds weren't very good. I have high hopes for these girls!!

Hey Guys,

I'm happy to say that everyone recovered and everything is under control. I brought these girls in from outside when they just started to show their white hairs. These girls are clones X3.

I'm sure I'll know when the time nears, but how many weeks on 12/12 do you think these girls are? I'm really not sure because I brough these in from out side.

I lost six out of nine seedling of my DP Blueberry because of my newbness...these seeds cost close to $20 each including shipping.. OUCH!!

I first cooked them in the July sun and then kept my flouro light way too far away and most withered and died...live and learn.

But, I was able to catch this obvious problem and save three seedling which are now healthy young plants...I plan on fimming these three and vegging them for at least two months

Why does this always happen? This is my third grow and my bottom leaves always dye prematurely.

These feminized girls have a rough history - low light, hot soil, root bound, low temps, I'm still learning...but I still have high hopes for these girls!

I recently transplanted these Blueberry's into Foxfarm's Organic soil...and they definetely responded well. I plan on letting these girls veg for another month until they're big and bushy....stay tuned

And why do my bottom leaves always die?

Hey JayDoe how are those plants doing? Looks like they recovered from a slow beginning...now the bottom leaves dying shouldn't be a big deal unless it is spreading up to the rest of the plant...throw up some pics will ya? :bigjoint:

Hey guys,

Thanks for your interest in my grow. I'm happy to say that after a year and three grows I'm finally going to have a great crop!!

I'm estimating that these girls have been on 12/12 for about 8 weeks. It's an estimate because these clones were brought in from outside after they began to show sex.

I fimmed two out of my six Snow White plants, I'm not sure if they're going to yeild better, but they sure are small and manageable plants. The fimmed plants are around 20 inches tall, while the unpruned plants are just under two and a half feet. I will give you my conclusions when I chop them.

I accidentally broke off a branch with a nice little bud. I plan on smoking it ASAP, anyway, I included some pics of the premature bud. Through my 30X micro it looks like the tri's are starting to get cloudy, a few amber.

How long until harvest? I'm hoping to yeild 8 oz from my 6 plants, any thoughts on this?

These are the Blueberry girls that I almost killed. I plan on cloning them next week. I transplanted into Foxfarm organic ocean somethingorother, and they responded well. I now have three (better then none, I suppose) healthy Dutch Passion Blueberry plants.

I can't wait to flower these girls

Way to go there on keeping those Blueberry alive. You sure are determined huh?

I'd say let the Snow White go longer another couple weeks. They're looking pretty dank.

I wasn't letting the blueberry go. It was $18 per seed!! I have three strong, young plants
