The pics below are closeups of a Hindu Kush + Skunk girl in my farm. From my understanding (from the bountiful information here in RIU)are these particular trichomes are in the cloudy stage? Being that I want more of a heavy effect I will wait for the trichome heads to turn amber which looks like it is on schedule and will be harvest in at least another 2 weeks.

I noticed some trichomes already turning amber...how fast is the transistion from cloudy to amber? I will continue checking daily but is it possible to have a harvest in September? Thanks for any input. :blsmoke:

btw - my girls are potted soil in the beautiful Northern California outdoors!!

EDIT: Having problems uploading pics. Please give me a minute to sort out...

It's normal for some to turn amber early. The transition takes a while, so pop in there every day or every other day, and be sure you are looking at the middle of the bud. More when you get the pics up.

looks like you're almost there!

most people here would tell you to harvest at 50% milky 50% amber,
but I prefer getting high rather than stoned so I would probably harvest in a week or so.

good job :clap::weed:

on 2nd thought, you might want to check the trich's on the calyx rather than leaves. I've found that the leaves' trichomes mature slightly faster.

Yup...looks like either 1st or 2nd week of Oct. for the Hindu Kush + Skunk. The others maybe a couple of weeks after that. :cool:

Okay...update. Clear/Cloudy/Amber

The Hindu Kush + Skunks are 10/90/0.
The OG Kush and Newberry are 0/90/10.
The Super Silver Haze and Sour Diesels are 30/70/0.

With the OG Kush and Newberry should I start flushing now? I'm looking for couch lock effect so I figure another 2 weeks. I've been using General Hydroponics nutes so 2 weeks of just water/mollasses should suffice yes? Plants are healthy with a few leaves yellowing and dropping off.
