Yeah I know that title in itself will make any stoner scratch there head
Anyway, I am currently harvesting and I was blessed enough to have some help this year from a friend of mine that is staying with me for a while because he has no home in California due to the wildfires.
So, my method every year is to harvest, haircut/trim, hang up to dry 5-10 days in dark cool room, then cure into jars for 1-4 months. Most of the time when I put my buds in they are really puffy outdoor bud, that smells like hay yada yada yada. However after 1.-4 months whamo I get these incredible dank, hard, stinky, nuggets.
On the contrary, my trimming partner this year has a radically different trimming method. He likes to pretty much give it a really close up fine detail haircut then kinda compress his "flower" into a "bud/nug" then hang it up to dry, then into jars. He does this because he thinks that cannabis makes/forms "flowers"....humans have to turn those flowers INTO buds/nugs.
IDk, I have never heard or seen anything like that. Does anybody else harvest this way? Or do you pretty much do as I do? I really dont know what to make of it, just kinda worried that they may be more inclined to mold due to what I would believe to be longer drying times than if you did'nt compress the bud.
Any comments are appreciated. Till next time, HAPPY HARVEST AND FIRE IN DA HOLE
