Stress, stress and more stress.
I would pitch it only because once you flower it it is likely to hermie.

Yeah not to pile on but,

Your friend needs to either get on a site like this, and learn some basics, or find a new hobby.

could have been a clone that was in shock.....put outside, bad ph, wasnt getting enough light....it can be saved. tell him not to give up.

starving for oxygen the soil needs to allow air to the roots re pot mix pearlight with soil at least 30% and cut back on the water

what i know:

1) planted from seed
2) planted inside greenhouse w/ tomatoes
3) planted approx 12wks ago
4) recently moved to inside due to frost

this specimen is at my friends home...i have a secret (grow room) at my house...would it be worth my while to convince him that the plant is gone beyond repair and take it for myself....i have a couple wks b4 i will needing my room anyways...but i dont wanna complete waste my time....

im figuring that everything is wrong with this plant...from the tightly compacted high PH soil/sand mix, to over-watering, not enough light, no air movement, and people using miracle-grow like its God's gift for stupidity...

do you guys think i can turn this baby around? she has a good stalk and lively growth all the way to the top.....
