1st Grow Whatcha Think?

Well, this is my 1st grow ever. I just added General Hydroponics (half strength) nutrients 7 days ago because i saw some browning of a couple leaves (pic 1). I'm using 4 40w floro tubes per tote (2 cool & 2 warm).

The plants in the beige tote were not put into the tote until day 21 for $$ reasons, until then they were kept in rockwool cubes in a tray and manually watered and drained. They seem to be going pretty good since I put them in the tote, but are definitely smaller than the others.

Let me know whatcha think, the good, the bad and the ugly.

LOL I forgot to mention they are at day 28 in the pics.

I made a mistake today. When i was checking ph level today at 2:30 before i had to run errands, I forgot to plug the water pump back in and didn't relize it until 7:00. I haven't seen anything abnormal yet. I sure hope this isn't a grave mistake. What do you people think?

Any other feedback?

At this point you have roots in the water, right? Air was still plugged in? Then it's cool!

Nice plants! Looks like they could benefit from more humidity (slightly raised ridges on leaves). Young ones are humidity hogs. Humidity helps them "breath"

Yeah i noticed that on a few of'em, wasn't sure why that was.

The r/h has been between 45% - 55%.

So it should be higher than that for vegging right?

What about when i go to flower them whats a general # to shoot for then?

Nice going so far, sure you will have a nice harvest in a few months! I'm on my first grow also, started with 3 seeds, but 2 were male, made it easy on me the first time having only 1 plant to baby, but now I am wanting to do a larger batch. I have couple starting, but 6 will prob be my limit for now. The girl that I did start with is 2 weeks till harvest and is nice for the first time to be able to say I grew it.
Also, add as many airstones as you can, the plants love the extra oxygen and seem to respond instantly. I have 9 in a 4 gallon bucket lol, not because I need that many, but don't have anything to go in the tent yet. I noticed a huge difference even with 2 weeks left, when I added a few more.

I'll go and get a few more stones, I'm kinda limited there as I only have a bunch of little fish tank pumps on hand, I need to go and get a couple commercial air pumps next month.

You want it high 60's or low 70's at least in veg and more is better but it's a nice to have and not a have to have. When you go to flowering anything under 50% should be fine. There are some strains that are sensitive and like it even lower but most can handle anything under 50%

I have a lot of work to do tomorrow on my plants and i will add that to my list.

im also planning to do a grow with fluorescents.

Looks alot better than my first grow in fact I did'nt know anything about pot at the time. I just got clones of this dank blueberry I was paying way way too much for. About a year after I got a clone of it turned it into a mother plant I ended up flowering it this poor plant went to hell and back I did'nt know anything.
I flowered it was really good stuff but I did'nt hack it down all the way since it was my only plan and I could'nt clone to same my life.
I regrew it and flowered it again after I took some clones off of it and man it turned out crazy dank.
Alright I took a couple bong hits mid post so sorry lol.

Well I'm really only using my floros to veg with until i can afford some hps and m/h.

I'm thinking I'll have to veg for 8 weeks total until i can afford a hps.
