Lets say marijuana was decriminalized in the USA, maybe you need a license to grow and sell it, but either way it's a relatively free market. Mass produced shit, organic shit, and locally grown shit is available.

What do you think the going rate will be per gram? Per OZ? For what we call "mids" now, whatever will be considered the "average" weed at that point.

I'd be pretty cheap because there would be competition. I think it would be on par with cigarettes. It should be cheaper cause only the highest yielders would be grown and they could have multiple crops per year. You would see the most massive buds you have ever seen if corporations were in charge of breeding / researching optimal growth. Might be a huge tax but the cost of production would be LOW.

Add $100 tax to every 1/4 oz

Are cigarettes cheaper because they're legal, or booze...? No

? Yeah, they are a whole lot cheaper than if they were illegal and people were growing tobacco / distilling their own spirits undercover.

Good point, as it is now people develop autoflowers, dwarfs, etc. Some big company behind it, they will just do a strain that is high yielding, and mass produce it. Probably develop specific growth additives and such, steroid looking buds.
