Folding up again?
O.K. it's been 3 days since tranpslant and I noticed a couple of my plants have some more curling. WTF? This is frustrating!
I foliar fed them with Grow Big at 1/8th teaspoon per quart. We'll see if that helps or not.

Yes and dying. The plants look healthy otherwise. A little bit of purple on some petioles. I trimmed most of the damaged leaves on my worst plant to see what it does. This is getting really frustrating. I'm doing things the same way I've always done them with these soils. The only difference is the strain. I guess I'm going to chill now and wait and see. I feel like a total newb.

I know how ya feel
I had like 5 grows before this last one and all were real easy and fun
hell I never checked for ph or anything
then I switched up strains and boom
things got extemely more difficult and started checking the ph all the time
some strains are just a bitch to grow I'm finding out

Be careful not to get overzealous on the trimming.Fact is, even though you transplanted them, they might have still needed a good rinse to remove the problem...did you rinse the roots?Did the roots seem ok?

Yeah the roots looked great. Nice and white and root mass was full almost top to bottom. The odd thing about this is that the plants seem to be o.k. otherwise. I only trimmed leaves that were 80% dead or more from my worst plant. I want to get a better idea if it's slowing down or not and I just wanted to see if it doesn't help it sprout some new growth. I'm definitely not going to mess with them anymore for a while because I'm wondering if that might not be a contributing factor with me taking cuttings so soon.

Maybe...I think it's always a good idea to wait until you're sure everything is hunky dory before you take cuttings.It's probably a good idea to just sit and observe her now,to see if things are getting worse or better.It's hard to be patient, we all want to rush and try to fix it NOW when it comes to our plants, but sometimes it's just best to leave them alone.When I was correcting my magnesium,I also added a little bit of molasses for the sulfur as a just in case measure,and it didn't seem to hurt, but I'm not going to recommend that to you because it's one thing to experiment with your own plant, quite another to tell someone to do it to theirs.

I know I know. I shouldn't have taken cuttings. They really were looking better and I thought it had resolved. I'm normally not so impatient. I lost considerable yield on my last crop due to a hermie so my supplies are running a bit low if ya know what I mean.

My temps stay between 68 at night to 78-80 during the day. My humidity is between 40%-50%. I've only given it one feeding with Grow big at 1/4 strength before today (I foliar fed this a.m.).

are you really certain of your humidity low? it only takes a 10-20 min. of low humidity to curl leaves like that... 40% could make some strains react and 20 min. of 30% would make almost all strains curl a little.
is it the top of the plant curling or the bottom or just random everywhere?

It's not at the top and really not at the bottom of most of the plants. It's kind of in the middle. The growing shoots seem unaffected but after 2 or 3 mor sets of leaves open up that's when it seems to be affecting mainly the fan leaves on the main stem. It's starting to affect some fan leaves on the branches as well. The curling starts at the leaf tip and works it's way back to the petiole. The curling up is actually the leaf dying.

I thought the ideal humidity was 40-55?

That's what I've always kept it at and I've never had a problem. I know it's a different strain and maybe it doesn't like the humidity I have it at. I just wouldn't think I would see such severe curling and dying with the necrotic spots and all that.

That's still what I think it is too. Perhaps I just need to give it a big dose of epsom salts. I only gave it 1/4 teaspoon per gallon but I've seen recommendations for up to 2 tablespoons per gallon. I just don't like the idea of giving it that much know what I mean?

Just stick with the recommended dose over the next few waterings.Don't want to overdo it.Oh, btw, my plant loved the higher humidity,it was up to 70 percent in mine.I never got mold or anything because she had three fans going full blast on her to strengthen the stem,so the air circulated...but I noticed when the humidity went up, she seemed perkier than usual.

I think I'm gonna boost the humidity. At least until flowering, which may be a while, at least until I get this sorted out.
