Seedlings, humidity dome, cfl and a hard to find answer!

I am trying to solve a situation i've found myself in...i've been looking for an answer to what to do nex now I have a seedling: leave in the humidity chamber under the light, or remove from the chamber?

I've read cervantes, rosenthal, and looked all over for a simple, straight answer but had no joy - maybe smoked too much!

Any help, as always, will be greatly appreciated!

You left out the important thing, the age. But unless your humidity is below 50%, I think you are better taking it out for some fresh air.

i have never used a dome for seedlings.
seedlings can be started in normal soil without having to worry too much about moisture or humidity.

I agree with the ostrich, they would benefit from having some fresh air circulating around them as long as the air isn't too dry (<50%). Also, a cfl won't burn your plants unless it touches them. Get it as close as you can after the first true leaves form and keep it hovering just above the plant.

oh yeah, the seedlng is just over a day old. about 1.5cm tall. the others will (should be through soon!) I've got fairly high humidity in my dome. and about 10cm from the light. a 35w florescent.
ive got two in rockwool (one seedling) two in peat pellets, and two in coco cana pro. so only one seedling so far.

I think i will give them some fresh air though, sounds like a good idea!

thanks guys

right on bro :-P.

I think you are over complicating things. Unless you are taking cuttings, what do you need a humidity dome for? you dont.

Thanks guys for sorting me out. over complicating things, well, that seems to be my speciality!!

Will take the seedling out of the dome and leave the others under it until they push their way out of the soil!!

thanks again!!;-)
