Yay I'm a volunteer for LEAP!

Who'd a thought that I would be helping Law Enforcement fight the laws that got me arrested and charged with Felony P.O.M. by Law Enforcement just 6 years ago? Well I have also just become a member of TexasNORML so I'm finally putting my $ where my mouth is:

Congratulations! We would love to have you as a booker for LEAP. Thank you so much for your offer. Because of the large volume of qualified people who offered to help, we have made some big changes. First, we now have the ability to take on more speakers, so we put a recruiting ad on our blog this morning at http://copssaylegalize.blogspot.com/. By the way, if you don't follow our blog, check it out - we post every day!

Second, instead of going through the full training with each booker individually, we put the training materials on a web site for you to go through on your own initially.

Again, thank you for volunteering, and I think you'll find that in just 1-2 hours per week you can really help spread the message of the failure of the War on Drugs. You have joined LEAP at a very exciting time!

You know, I think one of the best ways for us to make change, is for us to "come out of the closet". By this, I mean stop hiding it from our families and certain people because we are afraid of being judged, or arrested... because a lot of people have tried marijuana, or don't believe it should be criminalized, more than you think. Also, if we could come together as a whole, we would be an overwhelming force. It's just common sense. I know a few people who support me, and they don't even partake of the herb. I also have convinced others to be more tolerant by explaining the truth about prohibition. Anyone with the slightest bit of sense will understand and agree.

My wife got a package deal for us because she wanted the shirts :mrgreen: so i got the jar,(no buds) shirt and book too.

I had originally planned on going to Momo's for that. But instead Im riding my motorcycle with my crew down to Galveston. Well, its not really a crew, its just me and a bunch of freinds and family, but we like to act tough when we ride. Its the last ride of the year so I cant miss it.

Damn man that would have been awesome to smoke a fatty of some homegrown Bubba Kush with some RIU friends. Next time friends.... Next time.....
