I agree the bottle can be confusing....

Here's a link to their website with a more detailed feeding chart
http://www.generalhydroponics.com/genhydro_US/GH_Feed-Chart.pdf

Also research 'Lucas Formula'. It's another feeding schedule from Lucas. He recommends using the nutrients you have in different ratios.

This was very confusing for me too for some time. You'll find in time you will derive your own tailored feeding schedule specific to your needs.

Hi, Dankbuds ...

Here's the simplest ... and cheapest way.

The Lucas Formula:

Using the GH nutes that you already have, do the following:

Don't use any of the green bottle. You can forget it all together.

Vegging: 0-5-10.
Flowering: 0-8-16.

What this means is, you use zero "Grow," 5ml per gallon of "Micro" and 10ml of "Bloom" for vegging.

Use Zero "Grow," 8ml per gallon of "Micro" and 16ml per gallon of "Bloom" for flowering.

Green="Grow." Brown="Micro." Red="Bloom."

During the growing cycle, your leaves may start to turn a little yellow, In that case, use one eighth to one quarter teaspoon of Epsom Salts per gallon.

Take my word for it ... this simple formula works really well. I grew very successfully using it for many years.

Hope this helps you out ...

I also use the GH line but switched to the floranova series. Start out running at 50% specially during veg. No need to hurry it. Watch the plants and increase as you get comfortable at each water change. I changed to the nova due to it having better ph buffering. I use floralicious plus, cal-mag plus, ro water, and liquid kool bloom according to the "keep it simple recirc" schedule and am in 4 weeks of flowering and at full strength and everything is great. I did have a little trouble due to growing 5 different strains, the jack herer is touchy and the C4 can't get enough so finding the balance took a little bit. The guys at discount-hydroponics were allot of help along with callin GH. Know that my TDS meter is set correctly its a piece of cake. You can stick with the three part, I used it but my PH bounced allot more with it compared with the nova. I think on my next grow I will go to the GH maxi series to save some money. If you are using ro water the cal-mag and floralious plus is a must, other wise you will have lots of problems. While I am not an expert, the lucas formula seems more for the experts and I like to keep it simple. Just my 02. :peace:

it may have something to do with your waters starting ppm. anything that is over 250ppm is considered hardwater. GH makes specialyy designed nutes that are for hard water. Im not positive if thats your problem but it sounds like there is deffinately something going on there. I use the floranova with floralicious plus and liquid koolbloom. my water starts at 200ppm then I add my preferred amount of floranova bloom and then its like say 1500 for example then after I add the correct amount of floralicious plus and koolbloom it only raises to like 1600 or 1650. good luck on your issue.

sorry I didnt mean to answer someone else in your thread. I will say that as far as nutes go the best money you will spend is on a ppm meter.
