my new ppm meter arived today

hey all my new toy arrived today so i took er out and went to chk my tap water and found it to be 025ppm which seems great to me but it seems everyone els has water in the 2,3,4,500 area why is that??? i live in a rural community am hooked to city water supply(by city i mean a city of like 3000 not to big i go to shows with more ppl than in this town)so does my water just rock or what. i guess with less ppl around thairs less polutants in the water, even though they arnt a very smart 2999 ppl and think dumping used motor oil on the groung keeps snakes away, maybe it does but damn there ignorant, i could tell storys all day about there dumb asses,

If your PPM is that low - good! Did you happen to get PPM testing solution? That is the best way to determine the accuracy of your meter - besides - you'll need it for calibrating it.

Water here is the same...depends on where you live.
I don't think it's so much population, but the source
of it. It seems as if north western states have some
of the best because of the abundant fresh water
around here.

ph meter will not be here till wed. so we will see,,, i got a soil grow goin on now on its 10th day of flowering and 8 clones in soil so figure i got a few months to go til my areo unit is set up but it seems i got good tap water for it , i do have ph paper so i can go dip it and get an idea i guess but my digi will be more gooder. i am goin to chk it now

looks about 7.2 or somewhere between 6.2 and 8.4\\dont know the test strips also say use by 4\7\1994 so maybe i'll just wait til wed. and see

man your lucky. my tap water ppm is 460. i have a 55 gal drum for my res. sucks buyin water but i only need 25 gal in it now.
