bought this new 14 gallon ebb flow system i am askin a simple question how maNY TIMES DO I LET MY SYSTEM FLOOD AND DRAIN NOT TO SURE ON HOW TO USE IT...... how do i program my timer to set on and off????? PLEASE RIU members just need some feed back...... oh yea how often do i change out my resivoir???kiss-asskiss-ass

you should change your resivoir once a week

i start off my flood with 1x a day for 15 mins for new clones. once they take root in the coco pots i have them in i switch to 4x a day for 15 mins. as they grow i will add on a flood to the cycle. by the time im done i will flood 7-8x a day for 15 mins, with the last flood before lights out going for 20mins. everyone has different takes and times scheduals when it comes to flood tables this is just what ive found to work for me. as far as res change i go every 7-10 days depending on what nute schedual im giving for that week......as far as setting your timer quit being lazy and read the instructions

okay so guys sorry just realy frustrated not being able to get help !!!!!! im wondering how many times am i suppose to flood the system i am gonna put hydroclay groton rocks and how many plants can fit oin the flood drain if its in a 14 gallon bucket resivoir??????

honestly the only help we can give you is to tell you to start out with once a day in when you turn your lights on, and if they look like they need more before you turn the lights off do it again. id say run it for 15-30 minutes..your going to be the one figuring out how long to run it by your plants responses to your system

I don't really know what your problem is. You had a few questions, you got some help from some people with more knowledge than you have. Then you get all defensive and pissy about the responses. The responses are pretty legit, except that I never get anywhere close to watering 7-8x per day, but to each their own. I water 2 or 3 times per day for 15 minutes each time. It also use rockwool cubes which retain a lot of the moisture, if I didn't it would be much more often. There are quite a few things to consider, but the first of which is watching your attitude when you come around somewhere BEGGING for advice and free help. This isn't a paid service, no one wants to hear you bitch.
