hi, im new to growing but a life long pot head

anyway i just had (still) first grow in a closet,... not having any weed for over 9 months,.. impatience got the better of me and about 2 weeks after crystals started forming, i began snitching popcorn buds off the bottom of the plant and burning the crystals off in a pipe

well folks let me tell ya, plants in flower as little as 5 weeks can get you pretty stoned!

anyway i kept doing it till i harvested the plant,.. but now i have been somking this stuff, day in and day out for 2 months, and i still get a buz but its a lot more mellow and the thought occured to me that some of yuo long time growers, may have expirience or comments on this,..

if i grow a prepetual harvest, situation lke sog, wont i just get immuned to weed, eventually??/

i could actually see myself in the future, giving up smoking raw buds and weed and only smoking hash,..... but even then i wonder if eventually i would still get immuned

yeah its a good idea to switch off smoking different strains. its not that you get immune to the weed its just your thc levels get higher each time you smoke so over time it takes more to get you to your peak. i smoke two different kinds of bud daily just to keep the high at its best.

its purely an action of the strain type and how the perticular weed is grown.

marijuana is not like cocaine or opium, where there is a single substance that gets you "high". when it comes to the canabinols produced in marijuana there are over 300+ different kinds of canabinoids which all effect the brain differently. thats why different kinds of weed give you different highs.

sit down with 2 joints, one a heavy indica and one a heavy sativa and you will be able to experiance the effects first hand :D

THC, CBD, CBC, CBG, THCV and so on so forth........... its kind of hard to create an immulity to canabinoids.

if you want to feel like the first time you smoked just get 10 grams of different top-shelf strains.

i've been stoned for the past 8 years constantly because of the multitude of strains available to me, i've never had to build an immunity to a silgular perticular strain.

i find that the best thing to do is ScrOG 2-3 different strains that are around the same height/flowering time. this way you get a nice large cannopy of even buds, but you have a good choice selection of strains to choose from.

the reason u r getting a more mellow is the trich where more cloudy and amber so u get a mellow buz instead of an upidy high plus u do build a tolerance its good to switch out from time to time

I think switching strains doesn't really ward off resistance but it is a different kind of high and I think you notice it more when you switch around. I like to have at least 3 strains and rotate them. Rotating in a day of none at all helps too.

this happend because first grows ur all exiceted the entire time then you smoke it and your like damn its good but eh ... in other words you got your hopes up but yeah grow different strains they are all different then you add in unstable phenos and youll never have the same weed you had before

I have four strains now and Im vegging five of subs strains So I dont get use to the same high.Trainwreck and opium are my main strains but I love that Mandala#1 ,easy to clone and flowers fast with little or no nutes.I also have chernoble SQ,SB,JTR vegging all because I smoke to heavy.If anyone grows mandala strains Mike told be they need a good two month cure to reach full strength. Mandalas seeds site rocks.Great customer service and qiuck delivery.The stealth is so good people wont believe it.Breeder packs ,sealed in foil packets inside vegatable seed pack from their vegatable seed company,and bubble wrap. People think because mikes strains are cheap they aint no good,he has about 14 other seed companys to choose from. I think it all comes down to how much you burn.My point is Im going threw the same thing you are I just swap strains all day.What srains are you smoking,This might have some affect

normally i can smoke good weed all day long i be about the same high but if i havent had any for 1 or 2 days that 1st spliff normally gets me well stoned out.

After a couple weeks of daily smoking the weed just makes me tired mostly

I still keep blazing tho
