Why not? If it creates some discussion I dont think its doing any harm.
Because I'm pretty sure there's a rule about repeat threads.

It's one thing when different people start a duplicate thread, because they probably just didn't see that a thread already exists on the topic. But you are knowingly posting a duplicate thread, because YOU started the thread you're duplicating.

And why couldn't he do that in the original thread? They don't expire...

yeah I can see why they would have the rule, it would be dumb to see that day after day on the forum.

I fail to see how this is any different then you posting in 4 - 5 different threads about how you want everyone to use the ignore function.

Because I think seeing a new What's For Lunch thread every day would be ridiculous. I never said the thread itself was a waste of time, but why not continue to post in the FIRST one he started?

You fail to see the difference between me starting a single thread about the ignore function, and him wanting to start DAILY threads about what's for lunch? :???: I see a pretty obvious difference right there.

As for me posting about people using the ignore function in different threads, that's because that fdd stalker followed ME into a couple threads and started trying to pick a fight with me. I had him on ignore, but some people would quote him, and then I'd have to see his personal attacks aimed at me. So I would politely ask them NOT to quote him...I fail to see how that is anything like this situtaion.

well said louis.perhaps he thinks its his site?

sorry wik.didnt mean to be mean bout that.but there seem to be a common thread (no pun) going round.theres a certain someone who bitchs bout redundent questions every single reply he posts, then proceeds to to talk down to whomever asked the question.then breaks the question down w. excruciating detail.thing is the guys friggin brillent and has as much growing smarts if not more than anyone here.it annoys the shit outta me.just a lil common descency wouldnt hurt.
i absolutley respect your right to express your opinion.apologies once again.

Ok. fair enough.

Why did you create two bowls before bed threads?

Because the first one was closed because it became a chat thread. So I started a new one, and for the most part I only post in it to post my bbb, so that the thread doesn't deteriorate into another chat thread and get closed.

Any other questions I can answer for you while I'm at it?
