Purple patches? Help!

Howdy guys, just started my new med grow and need some suggestions..
Got 2 healthy Master Bubba clones last week. I started to notice these
purplish patches forming on the leaves and edges.

Clones were transplanted to 3 gallon buckets mixed mostly with Sunshine #4,
Vermiblend aggregate, and a little bit of Lightwarrior.

Been about 6 days so far, they are sitting under a Sunblaze T5 48 with all
6500k bulbs. Temp has been about 75 - 80 F, 24/0 light schedule and
watered every other day with 1 liter of RO water each.

1st feeding started 2 days ago, just gave them 1.8ml of Sensi grow part a + b
with .4ml of Jumpstart in each liter of RO water.

Did some homework and guessing it's a Phosphorus deficiency?

help!

No, P def doesn't cause all out purpling, just one or two big spots. Purpling like this is usually caused by low night temps.

I think you are right about the phosphorus deficiency. Temp swings usually happen outdoors. What are your day and night temps.

Hi thanks for the reply guys, I run the ac during daytime and it stays around 75 to 79 degrees. At night I turn off 4 of the 8 T5 bulbs and no AC it stays around 79 to 81 F.

could it be the ac?

Growing is pretty much a hit and miss type of activity, so... Turn off the ac for a 2-4 nights. If the problem doesn't advance, it was simply the cold, if it does, it's P def.

Without AC the temp during day can easily get up to 82 to 86 degrees..

Seems a little hot or would it be ok?

85 is the usual limit. Can't you adjust the ac in order to keep a lean 79-83 degrees? And try to keep the temps during the night over 75. Some strains with tropical origin are more sensitive when it comes to low temps.

I see.. Thanks Dr. C I'll give it a shot.
I'll try to maintain a 79 to 83 temp and see if it corrects the problem!

:)
