Just harvested my Grand Daddy Purple

Just gotta say, what a wonderful plant to grow.
It stays kinda short through out it's entire life cycle. My tallest plant was just under 30 inches.
But each one of the plants yielded over 2-1/2 ounces dried.
The smoke is very tasty.
I waited until most of the trichinomes were creamy, which makes the high unfriggin believable.
I do the 3 bong hit rule when trying out new weed.
After doing my 3 hits, the high starts out extremely cerebral and slowly goes into
a deep body high and lasts for about 2-3 hours. The effect might be longer for the amature.
But for a veteran, 2-3 hrs. is what it'll last.
On a 1-10, I give this an 9 all together.
Mostly because, I know that there will always be something out there that is better.

I'm growing one right now. It is very short and stocky and the buds are kinda dense-airy....versus dense-hard. How did your girl treat you? I'm having issues and controlling mold and mites outbreak!

Sounds good BJ....any pics? 2.5 oz dry is good bro :hump:
I'll post some pics later on today.
This plant loves nutes. It can't get enough. I fed it real heavy during weeks 2,3,4, and 5.

Mites??? Sorry to hear about that.
I didn't have a problem with mites.
No mold either.
I'm very meticulous when it comes to growing.
I not only make sure my Humidity, Temps, Ph, PPM, and Co2 levels are perfect but
I also take my plants out so I can wipe all the walls and floor down every other week.
I'm a firm believer that keeping a clean grow area is very critical in
protecting the plants from unwanted bacteria and bugs.
But the buds dry dense-airy just like you said.

are you talking about the weeks of flower or veg. I want some so bad. Anybody think you could bring clones on a plane with medical cards. I have heard that my med card will work out there, but I wonder about transporting

When I vegg.
From the time I take the cutting off the mother and actually put it into flower is only 1 month.
The cuttings usually take a week to ten days in my cloning machine to form long enough roots so I can plant them.
Then I directly put them into my vegg cabinet for approx. 2-3 weeks.
Or until they're 8-10 inches tall.
From that point they go directly into flowering status.

Whenever anyone is speaking about what they do in certain weeks, they're talking about flowering only.
Nobody really gives a shit about a plant that's only in vegg.
Because technically from a growers standpoint it's not marijuana unless it has bud.
A plant in vegg is just a plant, nothing more.
I just wish the DEA would see it this way.

As far as transporting clones, Sorry I can't help you.

Hey right on man you got 2 1/2 oz after vegging just a few weeks? Nice. We have 2 gdp right now, one is huge at about 18" and is about to start flowering, very bushy. The other is small and is going to keep vegging.

Hopefully mine turns out somewhere near how yours sounds like it did.

Good to hear! I hope to also avoid these issues with my indoor project. Outdoors, one has to deal with a lot of issues (especially when one doesn't take any preventive measures like I did this season outside).

I'll be doing some work in the grow room tonight. So I'll take some pics then and load them up ASAP.

I still haven't taken the pics.
 I'm such a lazy bastard.

I'll be doing some transplanting and cloning this evening,
maybe I'll remember to bring my camera this time.
